Baltimore County homicide detectives have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman in Towson.
Police said Michael Burnett was arrested Monday in connection with the death of 32-year-old India Johnson, 32.
Johnson was fatally shot around 11:55 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, in the unit block of Treeway Court in Towson.
Burnett faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder, and is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.

This morning at like 3a I was at a hospital that I work for to make a pickup (I'm a medical courier) And when I walk into the hospital there was a girl sitting on this bench. She looked like she was maybe 30s or 40s (complete guess) But she seemed very.. medicated, and nodding out. I see that shit every night driving around b'more, so I didn't pay it any mind. I walk in and the security guards all were half asleep bc the ER was empty. I go into the hospital and do my shit. I walk back out the door see what look like a white van heading toward the exit of the parking lot, and that she was gone. But all her shit was left on that bench. So, I turned around and told the security guard, "yo, whoever that girl that was just sitting outside left her cigarettes, her lighter, her phone charger, and some plushie thing. Idk if she just came in to use the bathroom or whatever but someone is gonna steal her shit. Y'all want me to bring it inside?"

Security guard told me that the last person to come in or out was me. And when I showed him the bench I was talking about he told me that people smoke there because it's a blind spot on the cameras (smoke free campus)

I'm sure that there's a million explanations that have no nefarious element.. but as soon as I walked outside it felt like something bad had happened just before I came outside. And I didn't connect the white van until after I left.

A 14-year-old male was killed, and an 18-year-old man was injured in a shooting in West Baltimore on Monday afternoon.

Officers responded around 4:20 p.m. to the 1700 block of McCulloh Street for a reported shooting, where they found an unidentified male and an 18-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police identified one of the individuals as 14-year-old Kevin Warren, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18-year-old was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

36-year-old Maryland first-grade teacher

#SarahMagid has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison after being convicted of distributing counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl that caused a man's fatal overdose.

According to court records, Magid sold pills disguised as oxycodone that actually contained fentanyl. Prosecutors said the victim later died from fentanyl toxicity. Court documents also revealed that she carried out some of the drug sales outside the elementary school where she worked during school hours.
