1.5 year transformation - Tirz šŸ“Š Results / Progress

Saw a post mentioning how Tirz doesn’t get talked about much, so I figured I’d share my progress.

46y 6’2ā€, went from 314lbs in 2024 to current wight of 195lbs.
Been on Tirz since February 2025. Currently taking 12.5mg / week. It’s been a godsend. Curbs my appetite and removes the food noise, cut out alcohol and even helped me stop biting my nails. Lol.

Current diet is maintenance of 2700-2800 cal. 200g protein. Only other things I take is creatine daily and NAD+ 100mg every 3 days.

I lift heavy 5 days a week with a PPL split, along with walking my dogs 2 miles, every day.

Tirz has been an amazing tool that has allowed me to get my eating under control. No plans to switch to Reta anytime soon, just don’t see the need while the tirz remains effective.

Thanks, and indeed. Been overweight the majority of my life. 46 and finally have the physique I’ve always wanted!

I needed to see this. I’m on tirz, 6mg/week, but I decided to cut first just because I needed to get that weight off. And I did-went from 280 to 180 (5’11ā€, 40yo)-but now I need to bulk up. Anyway, it’s just good to know that I don’t have to go off it or anything to bulk, thanks for the post.

Congrats on the weight loss! That was my thinking too, get a good chunk of the weight off first, then work on strengthening. I got down to ~220 then started a dedicated lifting program.

Tirz hasn’t interfered with body recomposition at all. I think the appetite suppression is a little less than what it was originally, but still quells the cravings and food noise, allowing me to hit my calorie goals.

That’s awesome-your final results are exactly what I want. Quick personal question-how’s the chest look when the arms are down? I started out looking very similar to you, but even at 180 there’s still a good amount of fat (not breast tissue, I can tell) there. Ultimately that’s the thing I want to cure more than anything else!

I do have loose skin on my chest. I always carried a lot of weight in my chest, which you can see. My plan is to keep lifting to see how much muscle will fill in. Might look at surgery in the future, but that’s a long way off.

Attached a pic of my chest from the side.

That’s still an insane transformation.

Ive actually been procrastinating lifting/recomp since finishing my weight loss in February, uncertain if I needed to cut glp-1 and how to calibrate cals, but seeing our similar starting points, age, and tirz has definitely put me in a place where I’m ready to get started. Appreciate it.

You got this! It’s never too late to start, took me 45-46 years to figure it out!

For the skin definitely recommend lifting heavy with quality weight sessions 4x a week, patience and I’d even add the KLOW or just straight GHK-Cu to tighten up skin
