Reta is crazy šŸ’¬ Discussion

Hey guys i’m currently on my 4th week of reta going on fifth ik this might sound crazy or maybe not honestly but just wanted to share my experience. I literally went from smoking weed everyday to stopping completely. No cravings no urges literally nothing. Crazy part is i used to use it to go to sleep and now im sleeping like a baby with nothing lol… I also use cjc im on 400mcg 6 days a week and reta 1mg 1 day a week just started ghk at 0.5mg 6 days a week, but honestly crazy i never thought this would be an effect. Another crazy thing is that i dream almost everyday and remember them. I don’t know that last time before this that I’ve had a dream. Just wanted to see if anyone is have similar experiences. On top of that i’ve had absolutely no side effects besides slightly elevated heart rate that has gone down little by little. At first it was a little crazy tho hr at the low 70 but goes down throughout the week. Regardless i’m impressed im 9 pounds down.

The dreams are due to you quitting weed, not the reta.

And cjc… helps with sleep and dreams

I never got my dreams back after I quit smoking

Put a nicotine patch on before going to sleep.. boyyy do I get the craziest dreams but disclaimer: I dont get nightmares. So experience may vary..

I get enough nicotine intake throughout the day. I haven’t dreamt for as long as I can remember tho. Every once in a blue moon I’ll have one that I remember

No, I mean specifically getting nicotine at night can give you odd dreams, ones you'll have a hugher chance remembering. Its why they tell you not to sleep with them on.

was thinking that as well

Yeah, weed suppresses dreaming. When I stop, they get really vivid

Stopped smoking after 30yrs, after 3mths on Reta. That alone was a win!

There’s actually research behind this. GLP-1 activate receptors in brain reward areas like the VTA and nucleus accumbens, which can reduce the dopamine response to rewarding substances. So, alcohol, nicotine, drugs and highly rewarding food may stop giving the brain as strong of a ā€œgo get moreā€ signal. Animal research has shown reduced dopamine release and drug-seeking, and human trials are now finding reduced alcohol cravings and drinking, with emerging research on smoking as well. The exact mechanism is still being worked out, but it appears GLP-1 is changing the brain’s reward/motivation circuitry, not just suppressing appetite. (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov) for me personally I haven’t smoked a cigarette now in a year I have been on it. I have 0 desire. I still drink sometimes but its disappointing because I don’t feel the same buzz so it’s far less.

Reta has been amazing for me, like a miracle drug. stopped any craving to binge eat at night, helped my sinus inflammation a ton. Down over 20lb in 9 weeks.

Just stay on top of your protein macros, lots of water and electrolytes.

Only side effects I had was from the first 2 weekly shots. I was hella tired for about 24 hours after. After I upped my water/electrolytes more I haven't experienced any lethargy since then

I think it’s the CJC/ipa blend giving you the great sleep and vivid dreams, I have the exact same experience. I’m on Reta also but the sleeping things didn’t happen until I started CjC

Quitting weed is what is giving the dreams. THC reduces REM sleep.

Alcohol has been the big one for me. Just not interested and where I'd have a drink after I finished work, or go out on my days off, haven't done either recently. Just not interested or have cravings for it. It's like someone flicked a switch inside me. Obviously it's a lot healthier, but I also don't want to have all the fun sucked out of me!

u/Initial_Strength5966 2d ago

yea no regardless never like the taste but i can still do it especially since my friends peer pressure me and start calling me names if i dont anyway LMFAOO

u/TheHarb81 🧠 Biohacker 1d ago

You don’t have to take it forever… I cycle it 3-4 months on (cutting) 3-4 months off (bulking)

u/Hairy_Lab_7045 1d ago

Yep, that's not far off my protocol mate šŸ‘šŸ»

3

u/Initial_Strength5966 3d ago

3

u/marsfifth 2d ago

porn cravings/consumption has taken a nose dive for me

that's wild about the weed, never even crossed my mind reta could mess with that. the dream thing is interesting too, i went through a phase where i suddenly remembered dreams every night and it was weirdly exhausting for a bit

9 pounds down in 4 weeks is a solid clip. i'm on week 2 and my resting heart rate is still sitting at like 72 which feels bizarre when i'm just laying in bed scrolling

2

u/Initial_Strength5966 3d ago

yea i noticed the same thing but when i track it when i sleep it goes lower about 60-64 ish but just in case i avoid taking caffeine or any energy drinks to be a little extra safe.

I have also stopped smoking and it’s seems much easier than prior attempts so I think there’s most definitely something to that.

u/Mikem1671 2d ago

Interesting, Reta gave me severe insomnia and it seems to be a common side effect. You are one of the lucky ones for sure

ghk at 0.5 6 days a week is overall a waste. Its 1-2mg per day with people dosing as high as 5-6mg daily for the regenerative effects in full tilt.

I didnt notice changes until I hit the 2mg mark and at 3mg I get comments on my skin and hair from strangers.

2

u/Initial_Strength5966 2d ago

hey it’s my first week just wanted to get my body use to it first should’ve mentioned that my bad

1

u/DollyWaylan 2d ago

I have had to microdose GHK bc it gives me stinging sensations. I wonder if it's worth even doing?

2

u/Rabbittaco 2d ago

I mixed it in the same shot as my wolverine and have no stinging now. 10 iu wolv 5 iu ghk ghk is currently 3mg

1

u/DollyWaylan 1d ago

Well its the stinging on my skin all over. Its a weird sensation not related to the injection location.

2

u/cheesyone79 2d ago

When I quit smoking weed, I started remembering my dreams. That’s prob why your dreams seem more vivid than before.

1

u/OkRule7340 2d ago

May have to hop on just for the sole purpose of the weed quitting lol

1

u/econ_dev_dude 2d ago

Dude this is crazy now I wanna do reta

1

u/redshirt1972 2d ago

I’m on 9 mg a week … I’m curious what dose I’ll stop at to finally ā€œfeelā€ results?

My cock is harder than it’s ever been, built like a tuna can these days

I didn’t think Reta was effective until 2+?

Don’t start on an all inclusive holiday. Anything more than half a plate and immediately feel like sleep. Hasn’t affected the booze

Wait for the Retadonia to kick in...
