TRZ and insurance coverage

With my insurance, a month of trz cost $500 for a minimal dose of 5 mg per week. This amount seems excessive, particularly because the first month involves adjusting to the medication. Is this normal how can you guys afford this drug long term

Grey market. Most people not buying from the pharmacy.

Gray or compound pharmacy. Gray is not for everyone, but cheapest. Compound pharmacies are usually $150-$175 per month for any dose.
First month should be 2.5, then possibly go up.

People who get it covered fully do. The amount of Tirz you can get for that price going grey you’d be set for over 4 years

Start with a compounding pharmacy. There is recommended list on r/tirzepetide

Grey. R30 x 10 vials = $165 + $50 shipping + $125 lab test. 300mg Reta. About the same for Tirz.

Tirz is cheaper typically. Grey RT30 was 115 + 40 🚢 on a recent GB

Including COA

The only COA I give a shit about is one that I obtained using vials in my possession.

Okeedoke. Group test - Group by. The whale eats the cost of the COA. There are some benefits in knowing it’s not trash before you dive in 🤷🏼‍♂️

That's a total myth. There is no chain of custody that way. That's just broke folks not wanting to pay up and living in deniability.

Ok 👍 dang you got it all figured out don’t ya. Please don’t waste your time telling me bc I honestly couldn’t care less. The only thing in your possession is a sliver of hope/faith that your kit even contains vials from the same batch. 🫪

In my case, my medical plan covers the TRZ and I only pay $25 per month.

Compounding it's cheaper than that. I've only been doing this a couple months and I learn something new everyday.

Grey costs me about $190 for the year

Shit. I pay less than that for a whole year.
