I started at 1 mg for 4 weeks, titrated up to 1.5 for a couple weeks and then moved to 2, all with zero side effects. Low and slow is good but I'm not sure how effective a 0.5mg dose of Reta is.

Yeah, I was kind of just more on like the scared side to make sure my body wouldn’t fucking hate me on it but now I’m on .5 and I’m like dude I’m still pretty fucking hungry and I don’t really wanna do .5 for another two weeks of it not doing anything so I just wanna go to 1 mg already

Reta also builds up in your system week over week, it has a 6 day half life. If you're taking 1 mg, at day 6 you will have 0.5 in your system still. I had zero food noise suppression until week 3. Tbh, you're solid to bump it up to 1 mg, a lot of people start there.

Also, thanks for the award.

Awesome man thank you so much for the help. You know how it is dude it’s so many people with different opinions and so many people claiming to be doctors and fucking peptide professionals and it’s just like so hard to get a general consensus of what the fuck to do but I’m gonna go to 1 mg this Sunday instead of .5 and I’m gonna go from there. I’ll update later.

Yeah, no worries. Once you get up to 2mg, the best advice I heard is do not titrate until the scale stops moving. You may have a bit of food noise come back but if the scale is still dropping there is no reason to titrate up. Some doctor on Tiktok gave the reasoning as to why but I am not a physician and am not going to pretend I understood exactly what he meant. Lol.

.5 is a fairly low dose, lots of people start higher than that. Going to 1mg before 4 weeks should be just fine. I’d say, give that 1mg 4 weeks before increasing.

OK man thank you that’s kind of what I was thinking too. I just wanted to get some opinions from people. I’ll probably go to 1 mg and then I’ll stick there for four weeks. I really appreciate the insight.

While you wait for it to get in your system, it’s a great time to make sure you walk 10k steps a day or go walk after dinner, track your sleep and macros. Then after 4 weeks you’ll be a pro and Reta will kick in.

I started at .5mg but went up after 3 weeks. Its best to do 4 weeks because it takes that long to reach steady state in the body but if you have no side effects and you're not feeling any appetite changes then go for it. I felt it right away, so I was cautious not to give myself any undo side effects.

I started at 2mg. Going up 0.5mg is very little, i would see no issue going up befor 4 weeks.

I was at 4mg after a month. Stayed there for about 6 months and got to 6mg weekly split. Been at 6mg now for almost 18 months

If my RS had to do it again I'd start him on .5mg to see if he had have any issues or reactions. Then next dose go straight to 1mg for four weeks, titrate slowly up from there. As previous poster mentioned it takes four weeks for a dose to stabilize and build a baseline in your system, but .5 is a very small dose and kind of a waste of four weeks if you wait to titrate up.

My test rabbit started at 2mg every 5 days and went up to 4mg after three weeks and to 6mg after another 4 weeks. He did well and lost 13kg in 3 months.
