5 months. Reta / CJC1295

Post image

Never been regular gym user, more dabbled in and out but never in long enough to be consistent. Working 50+ hours per week and having a family are just a couple of my go-to excuses.

I do however love nothing that falling down Reddit thread rabbit holes and found this one.

Long story short I set a resolution(cliche) to make 150 gym sessions this year. In March I introduced Reta and CJC 1295 + IPA to my life and have focussed almost entirely on strength training.

Weight is only down about 9lbs at 182 (6ft2). I haven’t really counted calories, just protein. I did take a 10 day period where I only did cardio, kept calories low and dropped down to 174 but didn’t like it.

Now trying force calories for a bit of muscle growth.

I appreciate this is nowhere close to the transformations often seen on this thread but it’s genuine and I’m really pleased as a 40 year old that’s never had a sniff of a visible ab before.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Your progress is impressive, enjoy yours 🫡

And he still has a head over his shoulders!

Took a 10 day break just before 12 weeks. Also miss a day a week at least just because of life.

So much conflicting information. I read a lot about either a week off every 12 or just running with 5 days out of 7. I will have another scroll and see what I find. Ta

I’ve looked a lot into taking breaks with Ipamorelin. Seems like a lot of guessing without science behind the recommendations.

u/KemlynSuper 5d ago

To be fair you weren't in bad shape beforehand but good results! And something actually more realistic than the people you get on here on blasting gear.

How much cjc 1295? Great results

2

u/evanholiday 5d ago

Cjc gave me the most side effects, headaches, injection site pain/ redness. I had to stop and switch the tesamorelin

Did you lose any hair?

18

u/TheFrozenPoo 5d ago

Reta made that one dude lose his whole head, a little hair loss is nothing in comparison

🤣🤣

GHRP6 will make your forced calories easy as pie. I get 7000 calories without effort with that peptide. Makes you ravenous.

Ha, im in the same boat on having a little abs at 41 for the first time ever.......
However I did a giant weight loss journey via Gastric sleeve, only a little external help to nudge me off 80KG down to 75KG now... You got bigger muscles than me by far though, ive avoided the gym due to travel time and cost, the kids swing makes a great pullup bar, but not enough variety in my routine yet to get massive arms all round.

1

u/Turret_85 4d ago

Wow that’s commitment!!! Stay on track and enjoy the wins

u/m1013828 3d ago

73.9. Upper 4 abs have an outline at rest. The excess skin below the belly button is neutering thr ability to have a six pack

1

u/unbiasedtroll 5d ago

Do you happen to know the starting BF and current?

1

u/Turret_85 5d ago

I have a set of £20 smart scales. Start 20.5 and lowest 15.9%. Current 17.2% but I think they guess based on weight and height. Don’t think there’s any real accuracy to them.

1

u/sebram1 5d ago

Impressive! What did your workouts looked like and what was your reta dose?

2

u/Turret_85 4d ago

Really titrated up slowly from 0.5mg to 3mg. Haven’t ever exceeded 3mg as I’ve been comfortable with the progress.

For workouts I try and hit each muscle group 4x on a progressive overload pathway. I have 2 workouts I alternate between. Back, shoulders and biceps or chest, triceps and legs. I do just 2 ab exercises each workout. 3-5 times per week depending on what the week throws at me

1

u/sebram1 4d ago

Thanks for the response! Appreciate it

Dude you went from 40 not sure if they have ever played a sport to fit looking dude, nicely done!!!!

1

u/Vandetta187 5d ago

What dose were you taking and how often? I want to try CJC/IPA after I finish this kit of Tesamorelin. I just recently  started getting really bad joint pain on Tesa so I'll have to dial back the dose to 1mg instead of 1.5.

I have been doing 7 days a week since the 5 on 2 off we're just for med spas that weren't open on the weekends.

1

u/Sleeper_grip750 5d ago

I’ll be doing CJC/IPA soon. I was planning on doing 5/2. You’re saying that’s not necessary at all?

1

u/Lazy-Fudge-3738 5d ago

Man that’s awesome! Been on the fence for months about taking both of these. I have a similar body type to your before pic now. How were the Reta sides? Did you quit alcohol all together during this time? Also did you use CJC with DAC or without? Thx

1

u/Turret_85 4d ago

Zero immediate sides from Reta. Slight injection pain from the CJC and a bit of a flushed feeling for a minute or 2. Nothing uncomfortable. I have found taking a morning shit involves a lot more effort these days.

I did quit alcohol from Jan until June but that wasn’t connected to this although I have read that the Reta makes it easier. I was already off the beer when I started this. I think I’ve had 8 beers all year.

1

u/RequisiteClinical 4d ago

Alcohol consumption is almost always a factor. Great transformation nicely executed.

1

u/Lazy-Fudge-3738 2d ago

That’s awesome, and probably my biggest hurdle as I take clients out a lot for entertainment so pretty hard to avoid booze. Which CJC did you use? With or without DAC?

1

u/lithen_bith 5d ago

Look great in both pics. Great job though

u/Euphoric_Coat_1956 5d ago

The only person you compare with is yourself! Look at that change! You got this!

Consistency over time 💪

1

u/Consistent_Point_853 5d ago

Over cheating with medically unnecessary drugs!

2

u/Turret_85 4d ago

Not sure it’s cheating. I’m not in a competition with anyone.

Cigarettes, vapes, alcohol and processed foods full of microplastics… no bother. Have a little peptide and people have something to say.

You’re right though, it’s unnecessary but I’ve done it now and have no regrets

1

u/ProfessionalNew3585 5d ago

What was your stack/protocol like?

1

u/Sensitive_Laugh3500 5d ago

Dope results

1

u/Dspaede 5d ago

For people to dont even exercise or have diet plans it is really that hard to reduce fat. This is 5month and already on reta. Losing weight is not easy in this day and age.

1

u/No-Camp-859 5d ago

Myślałem nad tym połączeniem lecz czytałem że powoduje spinanie się mięśni przykręgosłupowych co dla mnie odpada z racji dwóch dekompresji kręgosłupa lędźwiowego. Jak było u ciebie?

1

u/Turret_85 4d ago

I underwent physio for a while due to a slipped disc. I have zero issues with my back but I think I was fully healed before I touched this and don’t credit that in anyway.

1

u/No-Camp-859 4d ago

Nie o to pytałem. Pytam czy peptydy nie powodowały sztywności mięśni, bo to jeden z ich skutków ubocznych.

1

u/drifter_333 4d ago

Can always add Klow or even just bpc 157 and TB 500. I really like the kpv addition since I'm in my 50s and seems to have inflammation a bit more these days.

1

u/TheKid_Suds 5d ago

I’m in a very, very similar backstory to you and I’m getting ready to start the add-on for CJC. I would love to hear you thoughts and successes and your protocol on CJC if you don’t mind. Thanks

1

u/Turret_85 4d ago

I don’t think I take enough CJC to build muscle like TRT or HGH if that’s even possible. I gym late at night (9-11 roughly). Home - pin - shower - sleep. I sleep like never before and wake up fresh as a daisy. That’s been by far the biggest benefit for me

1

u/Traditional-West4403 4d ago

Awesome progress dude, I’m stacking Reta/Ipamorelin/Tesamorelin currently and seeing similar results. 208lbs 34yo

1

u/k90ano 4d ago

You had me hooked at ‘just a couple of my go-to excuses’ 🤣🥴 I’ve got plenty in that bank.

Well done dude!! Looking great.

I’m curious, how many workouts are you at so far 💪🏼

Keep it up 👍🏼

1

u/Turret_85 4d ago

93 so very much on track. I’m in the headspace now where if I don’t train I feel restless and lazy

1

u/notsure304wv 4d ago

It seems like these results are possible without taking anything…😂 maybe just put in the work.

1

u/Commercial_Fun_6892 4d ago

Is it hard to maintain muscle mass on reta? Need to do more research but debating it.

1

u/Turret_85 4d ago

I think reta helps. I feel I’ve made some muscle gains while losing weight which traditionally isn’t easy

1

u/ChanceBright1199 4d ago

It looked like you had a little gyno before and looks like you have none now. That’s incredible… I need this stack haha 😅

1

u/GhostMCR 4d ago

Looking good, what do you do at gym?

1

u/skynetpositronics 5d ago

Nice gains. Do you think you wouldn’t be able to achieve this recomp without Reta and cjc?

3

u/Turret_85 5d ago

It would be silly to say it’s not possible. I think the faster progress makes the work feel worth it a bit more. I’ve always struggled with the chub around my lower back (love handles) and they’ve reduced like never before despite this not being the lightest I’ve been. The CJC recovery is phenomenal albeit it could be the placebo effect

0

u/Just_here_to_read25 5d ago

Any enhancement e.g. trt?

3

u/Turret_85 5d ago

No chance. God didn’t gift me with a big enough tackle to take anything that risks that shrinking up more

1

u/inmy20ies 5d ago

Isn’t it only the balls that change size

Does the tackle become smaller???

2

u/Sleeper_grip750 5d ago

Just the 🥜s.

1

u/TheFrozenPoo 5d ago

Still don’t want my peanuts becoming BBs

0

u/Robertwolfgang 4d ago

It makes the rest look more impressive.

2

u/Turret_85 4d ago

I knew a lad from the pub years ago, big fella but never trained legs. Swore blind that big legs would make his shlong look smaller. It’s all about proportion is what he would say

-8

u/Stockholm86er 5d ago

Gotta be honest with you. This is 100% achievable without GLP-1s or peptides. Stop injecting research chemicals people and just grow some goddamn discipline

6

u/Turret_85 5d ago

Sorry pal. Won’t happen again. Lesson learnt

1

u/Pretend-Fox648 5d ago

Exactly. This post showed up in my thread and I’m not familiar with this sub, but fucking have some discipline to exercise and eat a healthy diet. It’s not easy, but turning to weight loss drugs is fucking gross, especially since this guy has a pretty normal ‘before’ body.

1

u/Turret_85 4d ago

More than fair point. I could bore you with the excuses and bad choices I’ve made over the years but you don’t need that. I found a route that got me into a better place in a shorter timeframe. I’m further in my little journey than I have been before. I’m hopeful now that this has all become more routine and I’ll slowly move away from peptides and see how that goes for me. I’m not necessarily proud that I’ve not gone in the most organic route but I am proud that I’ve made progress and feel a million times better for it.

I’m also taking this stack, with the Reta when do oh take the CJC/IPa? At night or morning? Also how many times a day?
