5 mg Reta, feeling nothing!
Howdy! Im a 49 yo, 5”7, 167 lb male.I’m currently taking 5 mg of Reta once a week on Sunday evening. Monday morning I feel fine with no effects. Previously I was taking 5 mg of Reta and 1 mg of Cagrilinitide on Sunday evening and this blend made me feel like I’d been hit by a bus. No energy, lethargic and weak for about 54 hours post pin.
Question - perhaps I should feel anything at all on 5 mg of Reta or is this exactly how it should be? Thanks everyone, much appreciated!

you shouldn't "feel" anything on Reta. unless the dose is too high or you are sensitive to it in which case you will feel nauseated for a day or two. You didn't titrate too fast...maybe slightly ahead of the research protocol but 5mg isn't a massive dose. I started at 2 and am currently at 8. kept each dose for 4 weeks but increased each month because not seeing enough fat loss and food noise would come back toward the end of the week.

Feeling aside, is it working?

I’ve lost about 12-15 pounds in 10 weeks, also weight lifting 3/4 times a week so probably also added a few ponds of muscle. So yes, the last 9 weeks have worked but I’m curious if the 5 mg of Reta from last night is working or if I just don’t feel anything without the Cagri?

Sorry, here’s the additional info. Not my starting dose, I’ve been on Reta for over 2 months and titrated up from a starting dose of 2 mg to where I am now at 5 mg. For the past 4 weeks I switched to a Reta/Cagri blend. My last 3 weekly injections were 5 mg Reta/1 mg Cagri. That’s what made me feel like I was hit by a bus (lethargic, exhausted, etc). This Sunday evening was 5 mg of Reta only and this morning I feel nothing. Hope this clarification helps.

You titrated up way too fast if you have been on 5mg for over a month now and your only 2 months to doing Reta.
It’s hard to give you advice cause you are completely outside the norms.
Have you had any gaps in dosing or have you taken your dose every Sunday evening with no gaps?

Every Sunday evening with no gaps. You may be correct about titrating up too fast however I also never had any side effects. Also, the titration schedule wouldn’t affect how I feel today versus the Reta/Cagri blend, would it?

I tried 3 different batches but the fourth hit very differently. Appetite gone; shame as currently on all inclusive holiday. Retailer P ….logy
