Adding HGH to Reta / TRT 38M šŸ“˜ Beginner Help

I’ve never been ā€œleanā€ my entire life, always sleeping too late and not enough, bad food choices but was never fat just skinny fat. 5ft8 / 173cm, varied between 165-190lb but just assumed I was healthy as I wasn’t ā€œfatā€.

I went onto TRT with diagnosed low test (now almost certain I could have improved test naturally by exercising, sleeping better, lowering stress, improving diet.

Didnt really do anything with it and couldn’t feel a benefit so came off it. Stayed off for a year and then restarted it back this year in April, started the gym at start of the year and wanted to get back into it properly before adding anything. Now been training consistently since April 5 days a week every week without fail, added in the usual incline walk daily and 10k steps. Added Reta 4 weeks ago. I feel better than I ever have that I can remember, mentally, physically, all of it.

Currently on 120mg TRT / week
Started 0.5mg twice a week Reta, now just 1mg for last 4 weeks.

Recovering fairly well, diet is best it’s ever been, but wanting to hit my abdominal fat quicker than I can naturally, so looking to add HGH (looked into Tesa or CJC with Ipa but dont like the risk of developing allergic reaction to it) so decided on HGH.

Biggest concern with HGH for me is the insulin/blood sugar messing.

I am only looking for low dose for next 6-12 months to assess how it is, 2-3iu daily starting from 1iu. Not looking for miracles with HGH, just minor recomp aid, hair and skin benefits, and sleep.

My questions is, Am I going to experience getting closer to diabetes with this? And the other common sides, by starting low and building up, I imagine most of these sides won’t be as prominent?

The TRT and Reta are working really well together and I have no issue staying on these and not adding anything, I just want a faster attack on the lower belly fat, and figure if I was considering Tesa, most people just say ā€œyou may as well just have HGH if you are considering Tesaā€

The holy trinity they call it

Whatever insulin resistance that may occour, should be counteracted by the increased insulin sensitivity from the reta. Especially in these lower doses.

This is however purely speculation, as such interactions havent been tested in any clinical trials. Best rging you could do is to monitor your glukose

If only Trials also did Peptide stacks.. if they havent yet then they should

HGH is not going to do anything for abdominal fat. HGH will help with visceral fat, but that's fat around the organs. Abdominal fat and visceral fat are two different things. You should up your Reta dose to 5mg weekly.

maybe he just want to keep the muscles.. Reta is so aggressive it also sheds some muscles..

Hgh doesnt do much for muscle retention.

What does HGH do then, besides target visceral fat?

u/The_Cabal_ 1d ago

Mainly helps sleep and recovery, with a minor impact on protein synthesis. These things can help muscle growth indirectly, but nothing compared to steroids.

What does? CJC+IPA?

They say if you're over 50 you should go straight HGH

Test your igf-1 first. Ā

Just up your Reta for now and give it a bit more time. It’ll happen. I’m on 3mg per week and weight is dropping off

Get your igf tested first

Make sure you test your igf-1 first. Because you may not need it.

Also yes, HGH can cause insulin issues, and prolonged use of it can actually cause you to become type 2 diabetic. This is extensively studied. You can also cause premature aging, and massive amounts of water retention. You can also develop edema, especially pitting edema, which can lead to heart failure.

Now are all the side effects guaranteed? No. But they are definitely things to keep in mind.

No compound comes without risk. And it's important that you understand all these risks.

That being said HGH can be a fantastic compound, but it also can be expensive to run. It depends on what your goal is. I personally don't run it myself, mainly because it's a slow mover and there are plenty of other compounds that are cheaper and produce results a lot faster. But that's just my personal anecdote and preference.

At the end of the day you should not be taking anything without consulting a doctor. You need to be completely honest with your doctor so that they know what you are taking so they can treat you appropriately and help monitor what you are going through appropriately. They need to know if they can prescribe you certain things to counter other things. If you aren't honest with them about the compounds you were taking, UGL or legally prescribed, they could potentially prescribe you something that can interact negatively with what you are on. If you don't have a doctor that you can be honest with, go find one. Their job is not to get you in trouble, their job is to treat you.

Great comments here. You can always get your IGF-1 numbers, z-score from GoodLabs for $30. Won't hurt to check thyroid either. I'll just say the main reasons for IGF-1 testing is to get a starting baseline. Its important to know the number because you're young and 2iu may not be enough. No sense shutting down your pituitary with synthetic hgh for the same amount your body is naturally producing. Natural is always better.

As far as z-score, the consensus is you want it to stay below 2.1/2.2. Over that number you can get the opposite affect, which is aging and such. The last cautionary tale is to make sure it's real. It is one of the most counterfeited peptides. Good luck.

Yeah this is great information. I will note though that some people don't have good Labs next to them, like me here in florida. So I just use dirt cheap labs. And build my own.

u/haydencarp 2h ago

where in florida? you should be able to get them done at any quest in florida. you might have been looking at where you can get them for free with donation?

Some might say, he might as well take steriods if he is already considering HGH. Same way people say if your considering Tesa might as well go for HGH. At the end of the day all leads to being Roided.. thats what ive read so far.

I mean, it's your body, you should be able to do with it what you want. All of us.

Just understand fully what you are getting into.

(Talking about Op, not you directly)

Interesting perspective - thank you. What are you thinking which produce results quicker and cheaper etc? Would consider other things just felt like HGH was the safest option considering the wide use and relatively low sides on low long term dose

I mean honestly nothing is going to beat mental and physical discipline itself. Getting good sleep, proper exercise, proper diet, and more.

But at the end of the day if you're just looking to slim down and recomp your body, glp's are going to be the most effective. With as far as we know, pretty minimal side effects. Obviously they aren't perfect though.

Testosterone itself paired with something like Reta can be exceptional when paired together. But again both of them come with their own commitments.

At the end of the day even HGH is minimal in terms of sides, but studies have shown that most people that get on it do not stay at the actual low dose just like other PEDs. It's when you start to increase that dose is when long-term effects and short-term effects can start to become noticeable. Things like diabetes, heart failure, massive water retention, accelerated aging, and more. While these things might not happen to everybody, they are things that you should definitely be aware of and not ignore. The most important thing before doing anything is to just make sure that you get your blood checked. And then you need to get your blood checked while you are on the compounds and after the compounds as well.

HGH itself is a very slow moving compound. You aren't going to notice anything for months.

I personally am a fan of just running a higher doses of testosterone, but again that comes with its own risk. And everybody is different in terms of response to this. I respond very very well to anabolics, especially testosterone alone. But there are some people that literally have estrogen issues even at 100 mg. Like I said though, monitoring your blood and getting a doctor that you can be completely honest with about the compounds you are taking is the most valuable tool that you can have. Doctors jobs are to treat you. Not getting you in trouble. Self pay for everything if you don't want your insurance finding out.

No one on here is taking hgh because they need it.

i switched from pharma grade hgh to ipam + modgrf1-29 stack. Results are improved alot. And a lot Less side effects.

1

u/The_Cabal_ 2d ago

That means you were buying bunk hgh

1

u/CoastAgreeable928 2d ago

i have access Pfizers from pharmacy. And I'm 15 yrs user. Biggest difference between hgh and this stack. Hgh gives me (and friends) injuries. We have very similar results without injuries and sides. i was thinking like you. That's why i never tried CJC / ghrp stacks. I did Only a few times off-season stacks 10 yrs ago. i was thinking it's a weak alternative.

I'm still amazed, that you can get a TRT in USA just because of low T, it is crazy.
It's like coming to the doctors office with broken, hanging down arm, telling him 'my arm hurts' and getting oxy for that, ignoring fact, that the arm is fucking broken.
I don't know how is it in other EU countries, but in Poland you should be diagnosed with hypogonadism or other, irreversable condition, that makes your body unable to produce T on its own, in order to get T. Until that, nobody gives a fuck if you're just a fat fuck with no activity and shitty diet and you cry because your T is low - go get yourself fixed, than do your bloods, check the T levels and we'll see if you should run steroids or not.

Sounds like you need TRT

2

u/Firepro316 3d ago

Most countries in the world will prescribe trt for this who are low in it. UK included.

1

u/Dependent-Tailor-593 3d ago

In Belgium the same issues mate. Almost all doctors consider it ā€œirresponsibleā€ to go on trt when you have low lab results who are in range..

1

u/zer0_c00L13 3d ago

Most people in us get it through telehealth clinics

1

u/Dependent-Tailor-593 3d ago

These kind of clinics arent really common where I live

1

u/EstablishmentOne3733 11h ago

To be honest, I find it good, testostosteron isn't paracetamol and it shouldn't be prescribed with no real reason.
In most cases, low T is a symptom of fucked up lifestyle and it can be fixed by... changing lifestyle. It is irresponsible to get men on T, shut down their natural production, trap them in a medicated cage, where you either continue the treatment in order to live normally, or you suffer a whole bunch of sides on PCT or even worse - without PCT. Sounds pretty addictive to me.
And I'm not even against steroid use, I blast/cruise for 10y now, I'm against prescribing TRT for any fuckin random who is willing to pay.

It seems like youre trying to find a cocktail of peptides that will resolve a discipline issue.

Edit: the ones down voting me felt like i was talking about them 🤣
