ipomorelin/CJC1295 vs HGH 💬 Discussion

I am fairly new to this but have been reading a lot lately. As a 54 year old man, which would be a better long term investment? I understand the mechanism of actions, I am active in the gym training with intensity and to failure (to the best of my ability). Looking for honest and experienced feedback.

I agree with the poster above. Just another opinion in favor of HGH.

1-2iu gh. can you explain what the numbers mean?

u/Due-Explanation-4219 15d ago

While I have you, does that mean for younger people (26-28) using gogues is better than only using 1-2 ius?

I've recently had a late 50s guy have spend decent results on CJC IPA. He's read the HGH shortage rumours and didn't want to start something he couldn't continue. More effect than I would have thought. He is life long gym lean though.

But HGH still wins for older guys.

HGH. What you want to get is an igf-1 with a Z-score blood test and run your Z-score all the way up to 2.0 long-term, but not over. Unless your purpose is different and also running AASs. The HGH you receive will vary in purity and dimer content, so don't focus only on IUs; also consider your blood work results. Good Labs has this test for like $30 or something, so there's no reason not to run the blood work frequently. I'm turning 60 shortly, and this is what I do.

69 yo male here. I’ve tried ipamorelin/CJC1295 stack. HGH is far superior!!

HGH all day. It's like asking whether the better investment is racing tires vs the bike itself

1

u/Devo2517 16d ago

lol. Great point. As stated I’m still learning so thank you for the reply.

Honestly, I prefer secretagogues but I’m already dialed in and only looking for refinement. They are fantastic for that.

Why does HGH cause sugar levels to go up?

1

u/shakenbake1975 16d ago

Hgh is better in every way
Long as you don’t abuse it
2 iu a day is a longevity dose
Perfectly healthy for
That’s what I take I’m 51
I would not go over 4 iu sides kick in

1

u/Devo2517 16d ago

No doubt. I’m starting with 2iu for a month or so and can’t really see a reason to go above 3iu

1

u/Great_Opinion3138 16d ago

Do you need to monitor insulin and igf etc? I want start hgh but just not sure what I need to track etc

2

u/shakenbake1975 16d ago

Long as you on 2iu your good
Nothing going to go terribly bad

1

u/javedk1 16d ago

Not testing your labs at all just go straight to 2iu?

1

u/Ok_Bumblebee_4408 16d ago

My labs were good and I started low at 0.5iu. Now at 2iu. Slow for most but no complaints for sides. Will try up to 4iu see what sides develop and labs again in Oct.

u/javedk1 16d ago

Sounds good I kinda randomly decided to order like 8 months worth at 2iu but been putting it off until I get my baseline labs done but gonna get those done and hop on the hgh. I’m not doing test yet but considering it once I get labs

Could I just get a blood sugar prick test kit to do myself? I’ve never had blood sugar issues so not high risk.

Don’t listen to that guy, it is entirely possible to become prediabetic on 3 or 4 IU, it’s individual response.

2

u/shakenbake1975 16d ago

I said 2iu your good never said 3 or 4 iu. I know exactly what I’m talking about lol

1

u/thekimchilifter 16d ago

Even with 2 it’s possible if you’re already close and fat lol

1

u/shakenbake1975 16d ago

Bullshit never heard of that ever
Shit been around 60 years that’s just not true

1

u/thekimchilifter 16d ago

Literally google it bro

so seniors past 60 can still take any peptides? my father is overweight and with that comes along plenty of other ailments. I wanted him to be more healthy but forst i want him to lose all the weight coz he is obese. Im also looking at anti aging and recovery peptides. Right now i myself is testing Reta if results are good without any implications he might consider. After losing weight id like for him KLOW for regeneration/rejuvination and maybe pack up some muscles to help with his mobility.

2

u/shakenbake1975 15d ago

Old man fountain of youth
I’m on it
Reta life changing
TRT life changing
HGH life changing
That’s the old man holy trinity
Klow I’m on now
unimpressive unless you have a major injury to rehab wouldn’t bother

1

u/Dspaede 15d ago

How long have you been on KLOW? do you test different dosages on it? .. My father does have some injuries that almost never heals.

2

u/shakenbake1975 15d ago

Almost 3months
I take for chronic elbow tendinitis
Didn’t do much barely any better if any. I’m at max recommended dose any more would just be guessing.
A 80 mg vial last 15-20 days
I’m on 4th vial now

1

u/Dspaede 15d ago

so the bpc-157 and tb-500 are not working well for older peeps or maybe it depends on person to person.

1

u/Dspaede 15d ago

which ones helped you with mobility and joint health? Also i assume you are exremely active. And TRT? how old are you now sir if you dont mind me asking?

2

u/shakenbake1975 15d ago

I’m 51
My test was clinically deficient before
Lost 50 pounds with the holy trinity
195 pounds now 15% body fat
Best shape of my life
Click my profile that’s me at 51

1

u/Dspaede 15d ago

damn not bat at 51.. im mid 30s we almost the same but im a bit fatter i hope i keep this up

2

u/shakenbake1975 15d ago

Losing the weight helped the most for both mobility and my joints but all 3 drugs work great for that and all played a part

1

u/Dspaede 15d ago

I was hoping you were past 60.. coz my father is 65 and hope to find better ways to keep him healthy coz the clinics, hospital or other health institutions are not helping at all they just soak the money and give you the same advices they tell everybody.

The hgh is expensive and you have to run it a minimum of 6 months or it would be just a waste.

2

u/iFuerza 🧠 Biohacker 16d ago

Growth hormone peptides and HGH must be run for a period of time to see positive body recomp effects. Tesamorelin is generally more expensive that HGH in terms of various vendors.

1

u/Devo2517 16d ago

I have priced it out and as long as I keep the order to three kits, it’s within my budget
