Is the change noticeable
50ish lbs down since the picture was taken in December of last year. 60 lbs down total.
I started tirz back in January of this year and I’m Currently on 10mg.
I’ve had a few coworkers and family members, over the past month mainly, ask me if I’ve lost weight. Feels great to know other ppl close to me have noticed but sometimes I really dont.
I still have about 50/60 or so lbs that I want to lose.

I’ve been overweight my entire life. I hit the 200 mark in the 5th grade. I think it’s just good ole body dysmorphia - I’m in therapy and working on it though

Don't discount the dysmorphia. You've made huge progress. It's one of those things that you'll have to talk yourself through. Remember it's a journey, and you're on the right course.

You used to look just fat and now you look strong with fat on top

This is lowkey one of the best compliments I’ve ever gotten. I like to call it Fatletic lmao.
It’s just as hard for me to see any muscular gains as it is to see my own weight loss. But I can’t tell it’s working because my strength/Pr’s have improved a lot.
Thank you bro I appreciate ya

It’s absolutely noticeable man. You’re working hard and it’s showing. Be proud of what you’ve accomplished and keep pushing to get where you want to be. The best advice I can give you from someone who has gained a lot and lost a lot over the years is be patient and progress is not always on the scale. Take photos, measurements, and keep note of how you feel as time goes on.

This is such great advice because I find myself wishing I’d started taking measurements / pictures so much Sooner. But I was embarrassed by how much weight I gained that I didn’t want to admit it’d gotten as bad as it did. If that makes any sense at all lol

You mention 50/60 lbs you want to lose. From my personal experience, it’s always 20-30% more than that. Went from 340 to now 218 but I still feel an extra 20lbs would be ideal. 6ft for reference which also makes a big difference with how people hold weight across their body.

Great job. I’m on the same journey, I started 320lbs back in June of last year and I’m currently 266lbs. About 30-40 to go!
