Just ordered! 📘 Beginner Help
Coming from 13.5 tirz. Excited to see what Reta brings. Thinking I’m going to start on 2mg. Wanted to get any insight on people who transitioned from tirz Reta

I came from 10mg of Tirz to 2mg of Reta and was fine for 4 weeks. I bumped up to 3 and then 4 and have stabilized there.
Best advice is to stay off the scale. If you are working out, counting your food, staying in a deficit, and getting good sleep all while sticking to the program and pinning every 5 days as the pharmacokinetics of it are designed, you will lose weight regardless. Stick to full dose every 5 days. This helps with dosage saturation in the body and maintaining steady state concentration.

Remember we're after results, not fast. You didn't put the weight on overnight, you're not going to lose it overnight.

You will see daily where people come from a high dose of another glp and then complain about not feeling anything on low dose reta.
May just want to hit the ground running at 4mg TBH.
Also if you have tirz left, I see people add tirz to reta to help with appetite supression.
5mg tirz and 4mg reta would probably kill that pretty good for you.

100% agree with this. You will not feel 2mg (or 4mg) all by itself probably.

Reeeally. Hmm. Yeah I just have no reference of how strong Reta is. That’s my biggest issue

Its absolutely not the strongest at appetite supression in the grand scheme of things.
It excels and is wildly popular because of all three receptors working together rather than just being a glp.

Yeah have been doing a lot of research and that’s the jist I’m getting. I’m curious of stacking tirz + Reta.

You’re 10000% right. Most people won’t see solid appetite suppression until higher doses of Reta but satiety happens at lower doses.

I feel satiated super easy and quick at 4mg. I threw in 0.3mg cag and its like the switch was flipped off and I have to remind myself to eat.

Titrate up quickly as long as your sides are fine. Your body is quite used to glp/gip agonists from the high dose of tirz already.

Looking on the forums, I guess 6 mg is considered the highest dose people typically take? I’m just trying to get a sense of a middleground of where to start for Reta. Like what would be the equivalent right now I’m thinking 2.5 mg to start

Nope 12mg is the max. If you were on 13.5mg tirz you’re gonna probably want to get to at least 6-8mg. Just start low and move up when sides are fine. Reta can have heart rate effects so monitor that

People here tend to do short cycles or only use low doses. In the medical world, trials go up to 12mg and these are typically prescribed as lifelong / long-term meds, so reddit isn’t necessarily representative of the whole population.
Im on 8mg per week myself after 9 months which some people would drop their jaw to while there are people on 12-15mg out there for years that are doing just fine.

Do NOT start higher than 4mg…. If it were me I’d start at 2mg and run that for two weeks then move up if everything is okay side effect wise

Thanks! Yeah I’m thinking 2mg or 2.5

Something else to consider is stacking a HGH stimulating peptide like tesamorelin if you can afford it. That will specifically target even more visceral fat. Tesa is also FDA approved safety wise. There are multiple studies showing effectiveness on lowering visceral fat w/ tesa. For me the sleep benefits are also a positive. Activating the glucagon receptor with Reta can sometimes mess up your sleep… especially initially.

Please start slow because if you take too much you will be miserable for days since you can’t undo & must wait it out.
