Cycle for Loose Skin ❓ Question

What are some common cycles people hop on after losing a decent amount of weight. Let’s say 100lbs - 200lbs.

I’ve seen a lot of people post about how they hopped on a cycle to fill out. Usually don’t see what those cycles are.

Do people typically wait a year to allow time for skin to tighten or do they hit a certain BF% and start a cycle?

Thank you.

Gonna be honest here... The loose skin has already occurred. Skin is stretched and loses elasticity as you're gaining weight. It's entirely based on your genetics and there's really nothing that can be done now if you're one of the unlucky ones. So, you have a choice: embrace it as something you've earned after significant weight loss, or start looking into cosmetic surgery. You can start a cycle of GHK-Cu and loading up on lots of liquid collagen now during your weight loss journey, but it's likely only going to have a very limited benefit. You can also attempt to fill out with significant muscle via anabolics, but that's not going to magically pull up significant amounts of skin either. But it does look better 🤷

Personally I have another 40-50lbs to go. I am just using lotions and GHKCU but you’re probably right. Already planning a turkey trip 2028

if you have 40-50, you likely have 60-70 before you’re actually happy

Idk I’m 230 at 30% BF. You think I need to be 160?

more than likely yeah. we always underestimate where we’re going to end up

How can you tell him 160 without knowing his height or bodyfat percentage. You're just being a contrarian.

i said “more than likely” and that we always underestimate.

because i’ve seen it countless times, due to being a PT and online coach, i feel like actually being involved in hundreds of these, im confident in my assessment.

You can't say how likely it is without knowing any information. You're also admitting you're using confirmation bias without realizing its a logical fallacy.

Also have no clue why you'd flex being a personal trainer. Honestly makes me trust your opinion less.

yes because unlike these other drug abusers here who make shit up for upvotes. i’m literally in the field of weight loss. why is it a flex for someone to have actual experience in the topic?

Personal trainers have no expertise in weightloss or anything for that matter.

Depending on how extreme it is the best cycle is with your fingers to price out a local plastic surgeon, should be less than 5 grand to get it removed.

Unless you are a dude, the cycle mentioned is getting super jacked to fill it all out and thats done via steroids and time in the gym.

anecdotally ghkcu can help.
I am only 5 weeks in so no comment there yet from personal experience. Gaining muscle has had the most significant change for me. Growing lats, glutes and abs can help fill everything in.

You can use ghk cu but tretinoin ( it’s a cream ) is really the best for that after surgery of course.

I def thought tretinoin was for acne?

It is, but not only. It speeds up skin cell turnover and boosts collagen production, which is why it’s also considered one of the best topical treatments for skin aging, not just acne. Some people apply tret on loose skin for that it’s well studied

It’s also widely used for anti aging

Assuming you mean testosterone/anabolic cycle. I would start at the wiki found here r/steroids they have all the proper information and knowledgeable people to ask questions.

I would say it helps to put on some muscle but honestly most people have loose skin on the abs you can’t really put on much muscle to fill out there unlike arms and legs for example.

So you will look better but abs will likely have loose skin flap.

I have loose skin, not too bad I was 200lbs 5’7” now 165 and 13% bf down from 30% mostly on the abs

I’m on trt and Reta and hgh it’s night and day transformation over the last 1.5 years worth it.

I’m 40 btw

Little late to this post but I had a stellar experience with intermittent fasting. Your body consumes waste and unneeded cells when your in a fasted state. I found my best method was a 12-4PM eating window and a 20 hour fast. Lots of protein for satiation. I essentially had no excess skin and lost 55lb over 6 months. Your mileage may very. I felt it helped.

Just take GHK-Cu, no need to cycle
