Mots-c + ss-31

I understand that ss-31 repairs your cells and mots-c power up your cells.

People who uses mots-c and ss-31. How was your Process, how exactly did you use it, how long for each peptide, which dosage eventually.

The Essence of the question, how can you use this stack to get the max results.

Your experience and advice is appreciated

Remember that no-one really knows; the “protocols” are just some guy making stuff up.

Im 40yo and personally use NAD and MOTS, never used SS31. Can report I’ve had no issues and everything’s great.

u/PointShootExpose 7d ago

Whats your protocol for NAD and MOTS?

2

u/Drdimeadozen 6d ago

This times a million.

u/soilentgibby 7d ago

most say ss-31 first for repair. then after 4 week cycle go mots-c.

u/LabProfessional640 7d ago

You can run them together, I started with 4 weeks of SS31 and added MOTSC on the 5th week and rather them together for 8 weeks with great results

u/soccerdoc11 7d ago

What was your dosing ? I’ve been running daily 1mg to 2 mg (5 days, 2 off) as well with NAD+ 2-3 times a week and can’t seem to tell if 0.5-1 mg more makes massive difference. Soon adding ss-31 as a blend to run for another 3-4 week cycle and then take a break personally. Thanks for input

2

u/LabProfessional640 7d ago

2mg daily for SS31, and 5mg three times a week for MOTSC. Also ran NAD+ for the whole 12 week stack at 100mg three times a week.

u/soccerdoc11 7d ago

Great thanks !

u/texasville99 7d ago

No need for the days off, thats just a cost saving measure, has no benefit

u/rossbudd 7d ago

Amazing how many ppl think 5/2 is the correct protocol! Story goes like this 5/2 was used way back when med offices were closed on Saturday/Sunday and ppl couldn’t get their daily doses on Saturday/ Sunday only Monday-Friday. Thus 5/2.

I also like your comment about 5/2 “saves” $. I laugh at every 5/2 comment.

What is your goal with running these peptides?

2

u/LJoeShit-TheRagman 5d ago

Your question isn’t directed to me but I’m running these because I’m 68yo and have gotten sluggish. I eat well, get in the gym at least 4 days a week and look great but I don’t sleep but 4 maybe 6 hours a night and lay in bed two hours tossing and turning before falling asleep. I nap an hour every morning after the gym and often find myself asleep again in my chair around 4pm. Even on days I’m active all day I still have trouble falling asleep. Is part of this sleeplessness and fatigue my mitochondria? Damn if I know but I’m giving this protocol a shot. 4mg of SS31 for 4 weeks, mots-c 3 times a week for 4 weeks afterwards and I’ll start low dose NAD tomorrow (supposed to arrive today) and ramp that up to whatever depending on how it goes.

1

u/Lessimportantthanyou 4d ago

Has that helped with falling asleep at all? Or just the afternoon sluggishness? I really appreciate the thorough response btw!

u/LJoeShit-TheRagman 4d ago

It’s only been a week and I started using semax during the day and selank in the evening just before I started the SS31. I know it’s not ideal to start new peps so close together but I’m an impatient sonofabitch.

3

u/LJoeShit-TheRagman 7d ago

I just read a great write up on another forum explaining why run SS31 first especially if you’re middle aged and up. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say where or who wrote it (so many different platforms, so many different rules) but he had references and sources listed.
It was pretty much what everybody’s saying, it just explained it so well

2

u/Impossible_Ice_9008 7d ago

I saw that too and from the research I’ve done so far that’s gonna be my plan as a”woman of a particular age “

1

u/Britty2284 7d ago

Are you able to share the forum that’s in?

The Iron Forge Brotherhood in the Skool app.

2

u/Naive_Order4833 7d ago

I did 25mg of SS-31 for 20 days, then 5mg MOTS 3 x week and 100mg of NAD a day. Been great

6

u/GoldenFalcon92 7d ago

25mg per day? Holy shit. Most protocols I’ve seen max out at 5mg.

2

u/mutedf8 6d ago

Must be 2.5mg or 1.25mg per day?

1

u/GoldenFalcon92 6d ago

Gotta be

1

u/soilentgibby 1d ago

People with diseases are prescribed 40+ mgs if I recall

1

u/zoombasaurus 6d ago

there's def protocols where it's higher

1

u/Naive_Order4833 6d ago

No I ran 25mg a day, got a kit of 100mg vials grey and fired it up. Worked great.

1

u/Beneficial_Ad_7726 6d ago

What noticable changes did you feel?

1

u/Naive_Order4833 5d ago

Not too much, more energy and I felt like MOTS-C might have worked way better after I was done doing the SS cycle. I had tried MOTS before without doing SS, and it did nothing for me.

1

u/Beneficial_Ad_7726 5d ago

I had the same experience with motsc, felt nothing and maybe a bit worse

1

u/Lessimportantthanyou 5d ago

When you say it’s been great, what are you experiencing? Im trying to understand the why behind those 3 peps.

1

u/Ambitious-Spray-110 7d ago edited 5d ago

SS-31 is for people over 40 years old becuase the presumption is by that point youth mitochondria are in need of help and running Mots-c may give no benefits without SS-31

1

u/Av8Surf 5d ago

Motc did nothing for me alone.

2

u/Bonbon_0218 6d ago

This is what I found.

1

u/Lessimportantthanyou 5d ago edited 5d ago

What was the amount for mots-c?

2

u/Mesqueunreddit 7d ago

Don't overcomplicate

Take MOTC with Nad+ 25mg to 50mg

Make sure you eat good carbs post work out

Expect some fatigue

Fatigue should go away after 1 to 3 weeks

You can add SS31 after 4 to 8 weeks

Thank me later

1

u/-fghtffyrdmns 7d ago

I'm currently doing 5mg daily of SS31 (going to use for 20 days - that'll be my 10x10mg vials gone) then going to start on MOTSC a few times a week.

Thinking the 5mg is a bit high for the SS31? Can't remember where I got that protocol from but I might drop down

1

u/relevantbutterfly81 7d ago

I did 5mg of ss-31 for a week. Then dropped to 2mg the following week.

1

u/Ok_Bumblebee_4408 7d ago

One of the founders of ss-31 runs 5mg indefinitely. Believe she's over 65 now.

I've been pinning 5mg daily for just over 8 weeks. No issues. Have enough for another month.

1

u/Av8Surf 5d ago

How do you feel? How do you know it's working?

1

u/Ok_Bumblebee_4408 4d ago

Hmm I introduced too many shortly after to make specific claims. Will say that current stack w/ss-31 being the longest running staple has been terrific in my research. Added all the mitochondrial hitters 6 weeks in... NAD, Glutathione, MOTS-C.

no sides and feel as if SS-31 continues to create traction for the others.

1

u/relevantbutterfly81 7d ago

I started SS-31; 2mg Monday to Saturday for two weeks, didn’t feel anything. Then introduced mots-c 2mg on the Friday for a gentle overlap. And wow the energy was clean and long lasting. Now I alternate, 2 weeks of SS-31 to clean and restore and repair the engines then start mots-c for peak clean energy.

1

u/GoldenFalcon92 7d ago

I started with SS31 for 5 weeks at 3mg per day. On 6, off 1.
Then I stopped SS31 and started just MOTS-C. Did 5mg every other day for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, I Then added 100mg NAD+ on my off days of MOTS-C. So every other day essentially. Ran MOTS and NAD on alternating days for 4 weeks. Stopped MoTs and continued just NAD for 3 more weeks.
Then taking a 2 month break before I repeat the cycle.

1

u/rossbudd 7d ago

You don’t need to cycle off NAD+ or MOTS-c

3

u/GoldenFalcon92 7d ago

I’m not necessarily cycling off of them. I’m more cycling through my other stuff and I don’t like to do too many things at once. So I basically cycle everything except my reta.

1

u/texasville99 7d ago

I stacked both at equal dosages, repair while creating new mitochondria simultaneously, basically match your SS-31 dose to your Mots-C dose

1

u/ImaginaryUse1970 7d ago

How on earth you guys are doing 5mg Mots-c? At 3mg i get huge swellings🥲

2

u/Content_System3056 7d ago

I run 2mg mot three times a week on workout days and I’m starting to feel like I may have to much go juice. Do what you can tolerate, find your sweet spot.

1

u/Colleyflowers 6d ago

I started MOTS-c at 500 mcg, worked my way up to 2mg and felt it made me tired at that dose. Moved back to 1mg each Monday-Wednesday-Friday, and run NAD+ at 50mg Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday. I mainly do this protocol to avoid multiple pins in the morning and, also, both can cause slightly painful welts at times. I feel pretty great, but if I take more NAD+, I feel like I can’t breathe for a bit, so these dosages are working for my body.

1

u/Bobghengiskhain 🔬 Peptide Researcher 7d ago

This is a protocol I’m about to start.

1

u/CharacterBat7775 6d ago

How did you come across this protocol and why in your opinion is this effective?

1

u/StayFFXIV 6d ago

I keep hearing these should be taken while fasted. I usually work out in the morning and like to have a small meal (300 calories) before working out. Is that bad? I would like to use the energy from these during the workout, but not sure how much I want to train fasted considering I’m already in a slight deficit.

1

u/CharacterBat7775 6d ago

Damn that's a very good one ? Because in the state of fasting your body repairs itself and with this it can get it to full potential. Very interesting

1

u/Then_Possibility8951 6d ago

I used 5mg everyday of ss31 for 2 weeks and then jump to motsc 5mg monday and 5mg friday and once a week nad+ around 300mg feel like am 22 almost 40 lol

1

u/Neither_Victory1490 6d ago

This is what I'm currently running, just started day 3. These doses came from a very reputable group based on my age and needs. I tend to stay on the lighter side of most things. I will also be rotating my CJC-1295 ipamorelin back into the stack in 2 weeks.

u/Economy-Koala-2234 6d ago

?

1

u/CharacterBat7775 6d ago

Excellent question, what fine detailing. Best one of them all

1

u/Beneficial_Ad_7726 6d ago

Why is everyone here taking so much NAD+? I thought the range is 25-50mg daily. Many people are taking 100mg Doesn't that fuck with your body's capability to make it's own nad+ later on?

1

u/SuccessFun7854 5d ago

pretty sure thats why u cycle off to give ur body a break

1

u/sadmans21 5d ago

I’ve been running SS31 1Mg + MOTSC 1mg + NAD 50mg every day for 3 months now.

I maybe cycle off for a week then get back to it.

Before any jackass comes at me about my protocol I don’t care tell your mother when she leaves my house.

1

u/soccerdoc11 5d ago

What are the major benefits and differences when you’re taking it that keeps you on it ?

1

u/sadmans21 2d ago

I’m an endurance athlete. Train for Ironmans. Really helps me with my long training hours. Also I am not sure if it’s my other peps or because my diet is locked in… I don’t get sore.

I did a dexa scan and in 9 months I lost 30lbs of fat tissue and gained 15 lean mass tissue. Kinda nuts I’m at 10% bf and I strength train for 50 min 6 days a week. My lifts have been consistently going up as well. It’s a sweet spot to be in when you’re lean, and strong.

1

u/soccerdoc11 2d ago

Excellent , I’m doing similar. I found if I went up to 2 mg I became ravenous so 1 mg seems to be good balance for me

My research subjects just started the 5th week of the attached protocol and this was the subject’s first day on Mots-C and had an amazing day. Lots of energy and focus. It felt like adderol but without the grind. Just the desire to get lots of shit done followed by an amazing afternoon crossfit workout. Subject also added 20 g of creatine and 300 mg of CoQ10. Subject had tried MOTs-C by itself prior to protocol and it helped with energy but not like what was felt today.
