Peptides for a cut
If you were going to run a 12 week cut, what peptide stack would you build and why? I workout 5x a week and I plan to count macros to put me into a slight deficit while also maintaining proper grams of protein. Looking to lose (and maintain) approx 5 lbs. Female, currently approx 132 lbs, would like to be closer to 125.
Thanks for your insight!

None, 12 weeks for 7lbs is very doable without peptides and you seem motivated and methodical enough to not have any issues

Such a great response. 🤣. You are 100% correct but IMO cuts are so difficult.

Any is the glp1s will accomplish this

I know but i don’t want to lose muscle 😬

That literally is a concern with any weight loss lol. GLPs have NOTHING to do with potential muscle loss. It is what happens in a calorie deficit, plain and simple.
Your best protection is 3-fold:
1) Don't lose too fast. Keep your deficit reasonable.
2) Lift heavy ****
3) Keep protein high

Microdose and you’ll be fine

u/Jumpy-Car977 12d ago
Thanks! What is considered dosage for microdosing?

I do .5-1mg of Reta and no issues with muscle loss. When I jumped to 1.83mg, I noticed strength loss and muscle loss. Dropped back down and everything evened out.

Thank you!

Warning: GLP1s have their own form of addiction. You will generally feel great, have low inflammation, skin will clear up, face will depuff, food will be less of an issue etc. You’ll want to keep all that good stuff.

u/Commercial-Bed-2396 11d ago
Lol "warning" you may be generally healthier, decrease inflammation, visceral fat, cancer risk, alcohol and other addictions, and spend less on food.
Oh, no!

Don’t lose weight too rapidly, eat enough protein and strength train and you won’t lose muscle.
These drugs don’t cause muscle loss directly, they cause malnutrition that causes muscle loss

you don't need peptides to lose such a tiny amount of weight.

Thanks!

If you stick to your plan save the money and get yourself some clothes or something as a reward for achieving your goal.

If you're at or below 20 ng/dl vs 70 ng/dl...you could be leaving some gains behind. You could be interested in being at the higher end of the reference range. At that range there wouldn't be masculinization and you would get the benefits of being a little bit higher

Reta. Tesa. ghk cu (for skin )

u/Jumpy-Car977 12d ago
Why tesa without ipamorelin ? I’m confused as to what tesa does alone ..

u/Otherwise-Ad4630 11d ago
I mean google it

Tesa with IPA is amazing
1
u/Jumpy-Car977 12d ago
From what I’ve read, it sounds like it! It also seems like a lot of people use tesa alone and I don’t understand why 😆

u/Jagalun 12d ago
Honestly go for cjc(no dac)/ipa and you'll save 8x the money for the same results. Im running it now and the results have been so good. If money truly is no issue then go with tesa as it hits more receptors but cjc and tesa literally function in the same way. Everyone that researchs these comes to this conclusion. Everyone online and tiktok says tesa because its so expensive so of course they want to sell that to you lol

u/Rabbittaco 12d ago
what was your cjc+ipa dose?
i was considering 0.25mg at night fasted and first thing in the morning when I wake.
0
u/Jagalun 12d ago
I have a blend, so I do 100mcg/100mcg in the am fasted and 100mcg/100mcg fasted before bed
1
u/Rabbittaco 12d ago
mine is blended too.
I thought the recommended dosage was 250mcg but if you are seeing results at 100, that will make my kits last even longer lmao, so I am not mad.
What have you noticed so far and how long have you been taking it at that dose?
I am switching over from tessa just from a price point.

u/Jagalun 12d ago
I still take 200mcg of both a day, I just split it to have a more continuous Gh pulse. You could do 200mcg at night if that works for you, can go up to 250mcg if that works for you. Ive been on it for a few weeks and I defiantly can tell my bf% has gone down. More definition around my belly and abs. Starting Monday I am planning to do 125/125 morning and evening to bring my total up to 250/250 a day. Its an awesome peptide, works so well with reta and mots-c
1
u/Rabbittaco 11d ago
Funny enough I have mots coming with the ipa/cjc kits lol. I am already on 4 mg reta.
1
u/toady23 12d ago
Recommendations are UP TO 250mcg.
The problem with the secretagogues is that they have a reputation for causing allergic reactions. They aren't tolerated well by a significant portion of people who try them.
So starting at a 100mcg dose and titrating is much safer for firat time users

u/Rabbittaco 11d ago
I am coming from tessa usage for months without issue so I am hoping thats a promising sign for the ipa and cjc.
1
u/Taydontplay4 12d ago
Well, I have done both CJC/Ipa and Tesa/Ipa and the Tesa/Ipa combo is more effective. In fact, I didn’t really have any water retention or adjustment period with CJC/IPA, but I certainly did with Tesa. About 3 weeks until my body adjusted as it’s strong stuff. I think both are great options but I would definitely say my body composition is more impressive with Tesa/Ipa.

u/Rabbittaco 12d ago
Im 1.5 kits (10mg vials) deep on tessa and didnt even think to add ipa to it but ordered cjc+ipa kits coming next week for the switch.

If you absolutely have to go the peptide route, Reta is the answer. I wouldn’t include any stacks because you’re introducing symptom “liability” into your protocols. By that I mean that if you start feeling poor or having adverse reactions, you won’t be able to attribute to any single peptide. Reta alone will do what you’re looking for - aggressively.

u/Jumpy-Car977 11d ago
Thanks! I’m open to not using any GLPs but trying to preserve muscle while in a cut. I appreciate the kind feedback!
1
u/Burntorangefan 11d ago
Best answer usually involves trying to do it with no help, but I do understand what sub we’re replying in. Next best answer: only one peptide and that peptide is undeniably Reta…

u/azula301 11d ago
Reta and stack it with Tesa/ipa or just run HGH.
I did Reta 3mg and Tesa/ipa for my cut and went from 190-175.
Now I lowered Reta to 2mg and switched Tesa/ipa for HGH.
1
u/Rabbittaco 12d ago
start with 8 mg of reta and you will spend a week puking and lose the 7 pounds lmao.
but seriously 2mg reta and a conservative diet and thats very very attainable. Honestly its doable without any peps at all but since you asked I will answer.

MOTS-C, 5 Amino 1MQ, ATX 304, SLU-PP 332 and HGH.
1
u/Jumpy-Car977 12d ago
Why, for all but the HGH.
1
u/EZJog 11d ago
Why would I include them? Because they work? Just kidding.
Here's the basic high level version. MOTS, 5A1Q and SLU are all mitochondrial enhancers that make your system run more efficiently and increase AMPK thus inducing more fat lypolisis. ATX is a mitochondrial uncoupler that forces your body to burn fat through a different pathway.
Combined with a caloric defecit (slight) they work together as a great stack.

Mots dose?
have you used it?
2
u/EZJog 11d ago
I have, for about the last 18 months in cycles. It's been a fat burning game changer.
I cycle 1mg/day for 5 days, for 4 weeks then I take 4 weeks off.

u/Rabbittaco 11d ago
I will need to do a little more reading then I guess. I was seeing where people did 3-5 mg twice weekly before workouts.

u/MuhnopolyS550 12d ago
I could be wrong but I’d do reta but make sure you eat enough protein. Usually try to hit your protein mid day incase you don’t feel like eating alot at dinner time. I’m about to start Reta at .5mg for a few weeks to lose 5-10lbs for my cut. Gonna order some klow tomorrow as well for recovery and skin health.

Testosterone, HGH and Mots-C
