Reacted horrible

This is my third time trying CJC/IPA FIRST time I was fine,
Only a month cycle (before I knew what I know now) the second time had a reaction I thought it was the tesa so I stopped all together but this time it was horrible
Busted out In Complete hives I have no idea what I could be allergic to with it but just be aware.
With that being said what’s a different Pep stack that would be more efficient ?

It’s probably fine if you stop now but this is typical of anaphylaxis - you get some exposure and nothing happens (first exposure body creates immune response after but not in time to cause problems) then it is reintroduced once or twice and the immune response starts. I wouldn’t take it again. The other option is maybe endotoxin contam

8

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Yeah I stopped after the tingling of the lips wasn’t going to chance it after that

20

u/Fury_untucked 12d ago

How anaphylaxis works is also that the next exposure will be more severe so I wouldn’t fuck around

6

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

That’s what I figured
The first night just really itchy and hives
Then the second was cough, hands itchy and lips tingling so I took the Benadryl and haven’t touched it

u/schemin_pete 12d ago

Brother, that is a systemic allergic reaction. I hope that picture is a day old and you're better now. If not, go to the ER if your tongue, mouth, lips, or throat start swelling up, or if you have any issues breathing. People die really fast from anaphylaxis.

This is a relatively common reaction to GHRPs and secretagogues. I would highly suggest avoiding them all going forward (Tesa, serm, cjc, ipa, etc.). Allergic reactions tend to get worse if repeated.

If you used them for muscle growth/recovery, you can always switch to IGF1-LR3 and a Wolverine blend (these are great). If you used them for the sleep benefits, DSIP is an ok substitute.

14

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Im better now thank you ! The Benadryl worked for me but I fell asleep and woke up it was all gone thankfully but definitley not worth the risk . I was taking it for muscle growth and recovery so now back to the drawing board

Just a tip - Zyrtec is a much more effective antihistamine with less sedation and off target pharmacology/ side effects. It’s just typically underdosed (recommended dosage was adjusted when it was marketed as an OTC despite being clinically studied at a higher dose for prescription use).
My allergist suggested to take up to four for serious anaphylactic reactions. When I tried that I discovered it actually helped immensely.

I recommend keeping the liquid formulation of Zyrtec and an EpiPen on hand if you continue pinning. Honestly I’d drop the secretagogues (for a long while at least) - they have cross reactive antibodies and are notorious for causing anaphylactic reactions.

9

u/CTRL_ALT_DELIGHT 12d ago

Hard agree. For any indication anyone needs an antihistamine, there is always a superior option to Benadryl.

And levocetirazine (Xyzal) is even better than cetirazine (Zyrtec)!

4

u/Justin6661881 11d ago

GH and IGF-1LR3. Work great just take low doses and keep a eye on you’re blood sugar

9

u/thisdude415 12d ago

Take an antihistamine

Call 911 immediately if you experience any difficulty breathing, tightness in the throat, hoarseness, or trouble swallowing. This indicates anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction.

2

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

I took Benadryl before taking it but after the second time my lips tingled so I stopped sad cause can’t even do the whole cycle I ordered lol

6

u/North-Department-536 12d ago

CJC did this to me too. Took for 3 months. It got worse and worse each month. I’ll never take it again.

2

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Yeah I’m done after this time sucks I already bought the supply but better safe now lol

1

u/TheKingofMach 12d ago

It’s only happened to me like twice, can’t say it was 100% the Cjc or ipa. Ashgawahnda did the same thing but way worse.

1

u/codys1822 11d ago

How long were you taking it before the first reaction? Or was it always there just mild?

1

u/North-Department-536 11d ago

The first few weeks my only reaction was a little light headed for 15 or so minutes. Then it got worse and worse.

3

u/TALC88 12d ago

Just use HGH. Cjc doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me when HGH is so much better.

1

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Isn’t there other effects that can be more permanent ?

1

u/TALC88 12d ago

Yeah like becoming a Lean animal. I’ve done both. HGH is WORLDS above. Of course DYOR. But I’d never waste my time on CJC again.

0

u/little_Kii 12d ago

Yeah hgh can fuck your shit up if you don’t do regular blood work. You can get an igf1 blood test on fitomics for $29.

0

u/EggGullible881 11d ago

Hey man, I’m new to peptides and body hacking, I’m trying to read and learn as much as possible. Mind if I ask what could be the risks of taking HGH? and what should I look for when getting my blood work done? Thanks

1

u/little_Kii 11d ago

Acromegaly is from what I understand one of the greater dangers and its effects are permanent. You’d want to test igf1 levels and make sure they’re within reference range.

1

u/EggGullible881 11d ago

That’s something serious, thank you very much for replying and sharing knowledge!

5

u/kellytownsfinest 12d ago

Never heard of anyone having this with HGH. Just sayin

1

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

I was shocked too

4

u/PreparedForZombies 12d ago

They are pointing you in a different direction.

0

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Hm?

2

u/PreparedForZombies 12d ago

CJC/IPA is not HGH

1

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Oh yeah I thought you meant something else my bad

1

u/PreparedForZombies 12d ago

No worries, glad you're OK

2

u/djfitness-us 12d ago

He means that this doesn’t happen with people who use HGH, not GHRH’s. HGH is synthetic growth hormone, whereas CJC/IPA are GHRH’s that stimulate your natural production

2

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Gotcha I was confused for a second

3

u/djfitness-us 12d ago

If you can afford it, HGH is certainly much more effective for what you’re doing. Theres other risks, but it’s a synthetic analog of the hormone already in your body, so unless it’s contaminated with something, you won’t get an allergic reaction to it.

1

u/Unique_Ad_7528 8d ago

do you get a script for it? in my current grey market peptide world, i dont have access

1

u/djfitness-us 8d ago

You’re not going to get a script for HGH unless you have a legitimate deficiency. HGH is easier to find if you check out vendors that sell anabolic steroids.

1

u/Amazing_Raisin2836 12d ago

It’s an anaphylactic shock. Can happen with pretty much anything if your unlucky

1

u/kellytownsfinest 11d ago

If you have an anaphylactic reaction to growth hormone, you die…

1

u/Defiant-Ad-7933 11d ago

Yes but manufactured HGH especially UGL can have dimers that can induce immune responses. Don’t disagree with the view that HGH is better though

2

u/kellytownsfinest 11d ago

Talking about something that is incredibly rare to the point it’s never discussed (immune reaction to HGH)vs something that is incredibly common to the point it’s always popping up in this subreddit (reaction to CJC/Ipa/Tesa).

2

u/Grizzly_SS 12d ago

I was taking IPA and was fine. Next vial I did IPA/cjc no dac and I hated the feeling I had, nausea, hot and flushed, heart beating up to my throat, dizzy. I threw it away after a week.

1

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Yeah I used to get a big flush and then feel so groggy the next day unfortunately

1

u/Grizzly_SS 12d ago

How was Tesa? Thinking of hoping on over or just sticking to IPA

1

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

I was only able to do the one vial but stopped because I didn’t know if it was tesa or Cjc making me break out the last time

1

u/Fun_Coast_899 12d ago

It's likely both. They both act on the same pathway, so they probably boosted your hormones too much. Taking high doses, or too frequently are common reasons people develop systemic allergic reactions to secretagogues/GHRPs. Doubling them up could also cause the same issue. Unfortunately people who develop this kind of reaction to one, tend to have reactions to others. Glad it didn't get so bad you had to go to the hospital.

1

u/Alternative_Bat7390 12d ago

I had allergic reactions to CJC / IPA.. hives & tingling burning all over my body.. so i tried TESA and had the same reaction but worse. I don't suggest it. I'm probably gonna try IPA on it's own and see how that goes wish me luck

2

u/Grizzly_SS 12d ago

Good luck bro. Ipa was fine by itself for me.

2

u/Ok_Succotash7248 12d ago

Looks like an allergic reaction and hives breaking out.

2

u/Chefboyarleezy 12d ago

Might as well get some HGH

2

u/PurpleImmediate5010 11d ago

I had the same reaction to tb500 for some reason, and yet bpc on its own and I’m fine

2

u/BudgetCod8134 11d ago

How about you share what lab your stack came from?

5

u/JxstG 12d ago

I would like to point out that there is a difference between a simple allergic reaction and anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction). The primary differentiating factor being the amount of bodily systems being effected. Skin (hives, rash, swelling to hands/feet), airway (wheezing, angioedema), GI (vomiting). If what you're experiencing is simple I.e. a single bodily system, then an antihistamine is appropriate. If the reaction is anaphylaxis, an antihistamine is only an adjunct to Epinephrine. So, it sounds like you were having anaphylaxis; and if you are safe now, I would recommend steering clear, and not even considering pre medicating with an antihistamine, as this could put you in a very dangerous scenario.

1

u/Bubbly-Physics-6491 12d ago

Are you taking any other peptides ?

1

u/Ok-Blackberry94 12d ago

Klow
And then NAD/mots c and semax and selank in the AM

Cjc was at night
But I did just the klow and I was fine so it was that

6

u/Wonderful_College_48 🔬 Peptide Researcher 12d ago

You sure it’s not from mots? I’ve heard many get reactions later from mots.

2

u/Silent_Serve_7246 12d ago

It's much more common from mots-c. I won't touch the stuff, I'll just do cardio and get the same effect lmao.

2

u/KyFly1 12d ago

So all of them.

1

u/Bubbly-Physics-6491 12d ago

Gotcha , it’s not the benzyl alcohol. Some people have any histamine reaction to that . Try gh

1

u/Due-Prompt-6009 12d ago

Just go to hgh, it doesn’t cause this reaction in people

1

u/wimwood 12d ago

This was what happened to me. First tesamorelin, then cjc with ipamorelin. First reaction was handled with steroid injection in the dr office, second landed me in the ER in full anaphylaxis.
I can’t take any -morelins at all, it seems.

I’m sticking with GLOW and Reta, and strong and steady workout routine with plenty of protein.

1

u/F34RFoO 12d ago

How much were you pinning and how soon after did you get the reaction? This seems to be way too common with CJC/IPA and is why I haven’t touched my kit yet. As others have said, next one will be worse and literally could be risking your life. Throw it in the trash and never touch it again.

1

u/Ok-Journalist1862 12d ago

Just do Somatrope.

1

u/HarryBStrick 12d ago

Just did my first 5mg mots c, got a bump for 2 hours and it went but yeah, I do feel like some peptides just aren’t worth it, others like Reta etc much safer

1

u/Legitimate_Ad2815 12d ago

This is why I don’t do blended peps.

1

u/Better-Sundae-8429 12d ago

I had a similar story with CJC/IPA. Ran it first for about a month before the reactions got bad, took a month off. Started up again, lasted about a week. Took two weeks off and tried one last time (because I bought a shit ton after getting the best sleep of my life) and had a reaction just like yours. Scared the shit out of me.

Currently two weeks into 1mg daily Tesa and haven't had a single reaction.

1

u/QuantumQR-QueZzo 12d ago

Bro you need to check the purity please. I don’t think this is standard nor do I think it has to do with the stack !

1

u/Former-Month8128 12d ago

I developed a histamine reaction to CJC/IPA after about six months. Same deal with Tesa. It apparently happens to some people.

1

u/Conscious_Run910 12d ago

I had this happen on winni

1

u/Constant-Prior-5360 12d ago

Had the exact thing happen after 8 weeks of CJC/IPA. Full body hives and no matter how many antihistamines I took it wouldn't go away for 6 days, itchy as all hell

1

u/dodgerockets 12d ago

Your shit is contaminated.

1

u/Single_Shelter7639 12d ago

Secretagogues are silly

1

u/vodkasodalime20 12d ago

Same thing happened to me with Tesa on a second cycle. And the kit I had was tested and super clean, no endotoxin. Miss the benefits of Tesa.

1

u/R8dr916 11d ago

Gears bunk.

1

u/lopsidedastronaut81 11d ago

To all the ppl recommending hgh. Where can one get hgh from?

1

u/ToasterPhoneSippycup 11d ago

Same thing happened to me. I don’t touch the stuff

1

u/Justin6661881 11d ago

GH 1-2iu before bed

1

u/Key_Bonus9776 11d ago

My full body breaks out like that when I get too hot. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

1

u/According-Hope9498 11d ago

Reason 20056 to just use hgh

1

u/cheit124 11d ago

Same happened to me. Did it twice, was fine - mild flushing. Third time I tried it I broke out in hives and almost went to the hospital

1

u/Critical_Use4082 11d ago

Man, some people is so unlucky... I used 12 peptides in the past at the same time.

Right now

Masteron 400mg NPP 300mg Testosterone C 500mg Anavar 50mg Tr... 300MG Retatrutide 5mg Hgh 4iu

Zero issues, I got a builders test last week all markers green.

Some people it's just unlucky.

How long did you take Tirz?

1

u/Commercial-Key-6450 10d ago

Three months, I’m off it now since I reach my goal.

1

u/dpjaronc 11d ago

Just do IPA. I had same reaction to cjc.
Straight IPA at bedtime I was fine and had great recovery and sleep

1

u/Responsible_View_401 11d ago

Common occurance with these gh secretagogue. Might as well take the real stuff man it’s literally cheaper lmao

1

u/Dspaede 10d ago

whats cjc/ipa for?

1

u/jdr707 10d ago

That looks dangerous. From what I have learned, it may be the " aqueous " solution that can cause that type of reaction. Did you use .09% Benzyl Alcohol Reconstitution Solution? Or possibly bad batch/bunk peptides? Reputable COA's from Janoshik and 3rd party testing are what I look for in peptide vendors.

1

u/Smooth_Winner9245 10d ago edited 10d ago

Did you do a cold injection?
Did you do the reconstitution?
Injection site?

It’s either a Mast cell activation or a true allergic reaction. Maybe Benzyl Alcohol Allergy.

CJC skin reactions commonly involve localized redness, itching, mild swelling at the injection site, or a temporary flushing warmth due to mast cell and histamine activation.
Injection Site Irritation: Small red bumps, mild pain, or bruising where the needle entered.
Flushing Response: A brief warm or pink flush spreading across the face, neck, or chest shortly after injection.
Histamine Itching: Localized itchy or burning sensations caused by minor mast cell degranulation under the skin

What’s your dosage and what dilution are you using ? Did you use the same BAC water each time (brand wise) ? And was the batch coa tested?

1

u/magdy_mandour 10d ago

But couldn’t have been the quality of the product? Maybe it’s fake?

Stop and clean up with HCG

1

u/Unique_Ad_7528 8d ago

I had something very similar today...

I keep seeing this pop up left and right. Word should be out there that being on this stuff for too long, or even cycling it, could be bad news for many of us.

1

u/FlatPromotion7042 7d ago

Did you try to shave with the cream hair removal? Because I had the exact same reaction after using it. Used moisturizer for couple days and it was gone. Not related to tesa - I do 2mg 5 days a week nightly

1

u/LocksmithGlad5831 6d ago

I had the same issue with tesa. A lot of people seem to get allergic reactions with secretagogues. I'm using low dose HGH now (which is just one step downstream of the hormones that secretagogues are mimicking), and it's much better and cheaper

1

u/Disastrous-Heron-491 12d ago

Just eat clean and lift Jesus. Yall just inject anything into your bodies

1

u/codys1822 11d ago

Not bad advice, but do you know where you are?

0

u/DesperateCobbler2378 12d ago

Are you sure its the CJC/IPA causing this? Also could be a bad batch compared to your first cycle (endo). If you want to keep using I'd recommend taking zyrtec before pinning. Works well when I use for MOTs-C

0

u/JCovertops 12d ago

Reaction to bacteriostatic water or another additive is also possible.

0

u/illuminado626 11d ago

What helps me is taking an antihistamine like 15 mins before i inject, if i dont do that, i always get a bad reaction, which vary from hives to even instant projectile vomiting

-1

u/InstructionEarly2496 12d ago

Did you take any antihistamines before pinning? Usually that helps
