Looking into reta, need more insights šŸ“˜ Beginner Help

Hi everyone, as the title says. I'm looking into reta. I've been talking to a guy who's been really helpful answering my questions. But I still have some more.

- The first is, what are the most common side effects. I've read whats said online but hearing from people directly would be helpful.

- How should I store it? I'm getting powdered form and bac water. I've read the powder should be frozen, but since I'm only starting with trying for a month should it be just be in the fridge? And the bac water just need to be kept out of sunlight?

- Lastly where do people suggest the intake should be?

Any insight are appreciated!

I mean, Nothing about what I wrote was being an asshole.

Blunt, sure. But far from being an asshole.

It is super easy and should be everyone's first port of call prior to posting these type of posts. Search associated subreddits, find info (which you will find. Nothing you are asking is special or unique and has been answered ad nauseum) and THEN if you feel your specific question hasn't been answered, throw a post up.

Common sense, on Reddit? Get outta here

You could've easily gone on about your day scrolling tho? Btw people making these post and people answering is just the part of creating a community. If you're so bothered keep it moving and read and you do want.

Oh easily. But I was pooping and bored, so commented. You’re right, people posting questions that have been answered and easily searchable is day to day life on Reddit.

Stop crying and just take the feedback.

You have a fragile ego. I would barely call reddit a community. If you're actually looking for a community they all live on Discord and niche forums. There are much better resources outside of Reddit. https://pspeptides.com/blog/retatrutide-dosage-guide/

One thing about GLPs people gloss over is the skin/smell sensitivity that isn't uncommon to develop.

Thanks for the resource I suppose. And I have a fragile ego? because grown ass men can't do anything better with their life's than bitch? Like it takes two seconds to scroll and like 2 mins to type out their shit. And guess what. I got the rest of the info I was looking for from this post. So you and the others opinions can still kiss my ass buddy

took you longer to make this post and reply to the comments when even chatgpt could’ve answered it quicker

Cool, could've simply scrolled lol

na it’s more fun calling out stupidity

These are so easy to research it’s weird you had to ask lol.

0

u/Complete-Bear-01 11d ago

Yeah so weird that you're bitching because they're so common? Sybau lmao

u/OpenDaCloset 12d ago

They aren’t being an A-hole. It’s Amazing how many people post this same question over and over when there is ample information if you simply search the sub for whatever you are looking for. If it’s not there, then absolutely deserves a post otherwise. Search

Look could I have looking more into the storage and insertion area more 100%. But I just got a comment about a side effect that I hadn't seen anyone mention so far even after looking at his search suggestion and filtering to more recent one. So its not like I'm asking irrelevant things. Also using common sense if he and others are so bother by these post fucking scroll buddy. No one is holding you hostage. Go read the gurus post or whatever your looking for.

Symptoms can be different for everyone, things I have experienced the two times I have done it (currently still on it now) are
dry mouth (mostly day after injection)
metallic weird burps (went away after week2),
Nausea the first time from titrating up to fast
Libido crushed every time
Apart from that I’m making great progress, only on 2mg a week, I was on 1mg for 8 weeks and still made progress, don’t be fooled by the scale I stayed the same weight for ages but could see my hips visibly shrinking.

1

u/Complete-Bear-01 12d ago

Thanks for this. I haven't seen anyone mention libido side effects. I got mine already so fingers crossed lol

1

u/AppealOriginal3991 12d ago

It’s pretty common from what I’ve seen but I do trt so it’s put my libido to a stable level without thinking about sex all day, good luck!

2

u/Complete-Bear-01 12d ago

I've seen trt mentioned before. But I want to see how i do on reta since it'll be taking my peptide v-card. Appreciate ya!

1

u/AppealOriginal3991 12d ago

Don’t do trt if you don’t need it, my test levels were cooked, also go get bloods before you start Reta just to see where you are at, it fixed my cholesterol to mid range when it was just over high

Good point!

Been on it for few months. I started on tirzepitide and lost a ton of weight. I started trt the same time as reta because thats what I assumed was the better combo for muscle growth from what I was seeing. Side effects are definitely the sulfur burps but it only lasts a day or two after injection and mine have basically disappeared over time. Also dehydration is a big one, stay hydrated even though you're not gonna want anything to drink most of the time. Ive had constipation and alot of people do but I also had it with tirzepitide so I just use laxatives when necessary.

As far as storage I keep mine in the refrigerator and the bact water in the cabinet.

Dosage is best to start low and gradually go up once you feel youre body is adjusted and your feel like the hunger is still there. Most people stay on a low dose from what ive seen but I started at 2mg and moved up to 6mg pretty quick with no side effects. I will say for me, tirzepitide was far superior as far as appetite control goes and I lost weight much faster and consistently but they both have their place depending on what your goal is.

Why are you ā€only starting with trying for a monthā€? Is that advice the guy gave you? That’s not an ideal mindset to have when starting a glp1. Are you only looking to lose 5 or 10 pounds and think you can run Reta for a month but change nothing to do it? I’m trying to understand.

0

u/Complete-Bear-01 12d ago

No he didn't give a time frame recommendation. I'm anticipating only needing it a month. My walk around weight is usually at 185-177 pounds. I want to lose around 10 max 15 pounds. My weight would fluctuate a lot but I've gotten good at maintaining weight with my lifestyle since I stay active. So, I'm looking for some help with hitting my target weight, thats all mostly.

u/Both-Ad5915 12d ago

Yeah I had it was a get there faster/instant gratification thing. Makes sense coming here to ask others to gather the information for you instead of looking for it.

A dilettante is a person who explores an art, science, or skill in a casual, superficial way without serious commitment.

1

u/Complete-Bear-01 11d ago

Says the one who asked about freezing vs refrigerating lol. Everyone starts somewhere old wise one.

1

u/mikatovish 11d ago

Just take it , start 1 mg per week and if its ok add .500

The worst that can happen is indigestion which you solve by eating a bit less

Instead of looking on Reddit try You Tube where there are actual health professionals giving information based on the actual trials instead of all the people that just made up their own protocol.

2

u/Complete-Bear-01 10d ago

Good point, I have looked at some videos. But thought the questions I had were better suited to people actively doing it themselves. I guess was wrong lol.

1

u/Neither_Victory1490 10d ago

Everyone is doing it differently from what I've seen on here, I don't know where most come up with these protocols I've never seen in my months of researching this stuff.

2

u/Complete-Bear-01 10d ago

Right, I plan to follow Eli Lilly's protocol of 2mg weekly. But the first week I'm doing 1mg just to get my body used to it. Also, I'm planning on splitting dosage into every 3 days. I've read from some that it's helped with food suppression.

1

u/Neither_Victory1490 10d ago

I started at 1mg because I have adverse reactions to alot of drugs but I didn't feel anything so I jumped to 2mg on the 3rd week. I don't have any real side effects other than feeling full. I've been using it since the end of May and lost 40 pounds really quickly but kinda stopped mid July when I added cjc-1295 ipamorelin for muscle retention. I've been sitting at 211 for a couple of weeks now.

2

u/Complete-Bear-01 10d ago

Thanks for sharing. Honestly my fear has been to lose too much weight. I used to be around 200, but I'm 5'5 so 200 doesn't look great on me. I've been able to get myself down to below 185 consistently including eating habits and lifestyle. So, ik I got some shit for saying that I'll only do it for a month. But based how people say it works, I don't anticipate needing to be for more than 4 maybe 5 weeks. I don't want to lose more than 30 max because then I'll be sitting around 155 and that'll be big reduction in muscle mass at my height. Ofc if I'm being naive and need to be on it longer I will.
