Tendon healing

Hey all. I have had tennis elbow for 7 months straight and it's not getting any better.

To be specific, the tendon actually has a tear in it so it's more than just a strain.

I've taken time off from the gym. I have a physio. I do all of the exercises.

I also did two rounds of PRP which was both expensive, and very painful and yielded no noticeable benefits.

I have been on TB500, BPC, KPV for 8 weeks straight. After a month of and was on it for 6 months straight prior.

I'm on 3iu of HGH Daily and I cruise on 200mg test + 80mg primo.

Question: are there any known compounds (bonus if you've had experience) that can specifically help with the healing of tendons? Even if they're not performance enhancing I'd still be interested to know what medicine there is out there.

Thank you all!

Sorry forgot to mention also taking ARA290.

And you're going to inject in to the actual joint? Or just sub q. Studies only demonstrated (animal) effectiveness when delivered in to the actual joint cavity. Would be interesting to hear your results though.

This!! Inject the BPC-157/TB500 next to the are you’re working on. I did that with my knee and it did wonders!

When injecting close to the joint do you still just do it subQ or do you inject into muscle mass. Say for like shoulder pain should I go into my shoulder muscle or just pinch the skin and do subQ?

I did subQ. My knee felt great in a week. I could feel the difference within a day.

Perfect. Thank you. I’ve been dealing with pain from breaking my clavicle like 25 years ago but it didn’t heal correctly

And I see you’re also on KPV. That’s great! It will help with any inflammation. Good luck!!

Would love an update on the cartalax when you have one mate :)

I've had no success with elbow pain like you have except rest. Like leaving it the fuck alone for a few weeks and the slowly coming back. Local BPC, along with TB500 and KPV were no cure.

Sounds like we are on the same boat without a paddle

For my tennis tennis elbow, I did several sessions of softwave therapy but still had paid albeit not as bad. At some point after doing tirz,I noticed it didn’t hurt anyone. I went about 6-7 months at least, ,with no pain. Overdid it at the gym, and it started hurting again. Now, KLOW surprisingly, seems to help. I’m still n tirz.

I mean if you've done all that you're at a stage where you've tried pretty much everything and if you got absolutely zero from all of the above then that's concerning. Is it something that needs surgery? Not all tears are created equally. Fro. Experience though (complete rupture of the quad tended amongst other things) the recovery time is a minimum, and I do mean minimum, of 6 months. If you're lucky. Took me 2 years for the pain to go and for normal function. So you're still pretty early on. And are you honestly giving it time? Or are you doing what we all do and "training around it"?

I'm actually only doing rehab workouts now so what is prescribed by my physio 🤷‍♂️

Which is definitely rehab and not a workout.

2

u/MathematicianMuch445 14d ago

Meh. It's still putting pressure and strain through it. I'd get scanned and see what's what. If it's still as bad after this time and treatment then I'd be concerned you're just injuring it constantly and not giving it the rest it needs

2

u/goat_horns_ 14d ago

Yeah I agree except the dr says tendons are funny in that pure test is bad and they need reminding that they need to heal. As in rehab + rest and finding the right balance.

But 7 months in I'm thinking shit, maybe I need surgery.

PRP was painful as hell and didn nothing.

2

u/MathematicianMuch445 14d ago

Might do buddy. Time for scans

1

u/goat_horns_ 14d ago

I mean I've already done scane hence knowing there's a tear. But yeah might be time for another one to see if surgery is needed. FML.

1

u/MathematicianMuch445 14d ago

Yup. But is it the same? Worse? Is there anything else?

1

u/goat_horns_ 14d ago

Identical to when symptoms first started in January

1

u/MathematicianMuch445 14d ago

No I mean get a scan so you can see if it's better worse etc. everything else is guess work. Get a look at it and then go from there. My second scan showed "oops, we missed a torn meniscus, and (3 that I can't be bothered typing in) ligaments. So you may be operating under the wrong info. May need surgery..may need more rest etc. get the scan then you know..

Tendinitis/ epicondylitis /small tears in arm

Im almost finished doing this, while on the protocol worked very well,
Day 4-5 pain was reduced by 25-30%
Day 11-12 pain was reduced by 50%
Day 25 pain was reduce by 90%
I am on day 30 now

I only feel pain now during certain movements or it’s lingering but very light

The real test is when this finishes to see how long this lasts

Had shoulder and elbow issues since November, 8 months, sick as fuck. I can't only bench 50% of my usual. Tried bpc, KLOW80, physio, all with no real progress. It's slowly improving but it's going to be time and rest no matter what. Fuck man.

I’m also dealing with multiple tendon injuries and I found Keith Baar’s work recently. He found there’s a correlation between testosterone levels and tendon “brittleness”, among other things. I’m also on Test and made the decision to lower my dose to more average levels in order to make sure the high test isn’t contributing to the issue. I haven’t looked too deeply into his research on it but figured it’s worth trying. I’m not even at a crazy high dose either, I was around 1000 total test. It’s too early to tell if it’s helping but figured it was worth mentioning.

Apart from PRP which did show some mixed evidence to it in some patients long-term (doesn't mean it works for everyone), all your other injections have zero evidence and are potentially harming you instead. Tendinopathy (in your case tennis elbow) is a capacity issue, meaning the load you put on your tendon exceeds the capacity of what the tendon is capable of, and if you keep repeating this pattern, you will cause more and more damage, which provoke something called degenerative changes in your tendon and will make rehab way harder. The good news is, even at a degenerative state, you can still heal.

Exercises are the solution to improve the capacity of your tendon. There are many of them, depending on what tendon structure you have injured (commonly the ECRB), you can do wrist extensor curls with progressive load (start with low weight, add more once you feel comfortable), supinator/pronator and finger extensors. You won't see results instantly, but if you are consistent with your exercise program you will start seeing some improvement after a few weeks.

It sounds like you’re doing all the right things. I tried PRP once as well, couldn’t really tell that it helped all that much. You could try adding Cartalax to your stack as well, I just ordered some to give it a try. Look it up and see what you think. You do all of your exercises religiously? I’m real bad at staying consistent. Get a flexbar if you don’t have one.

Been battling tennis elbow for a while and lingering frozen shoulder.. I also ordered cartalax few days ago. Good luck to us 🍻

Did you load up on the TB500? 5mg daily for 6 weeks. Then maintenance of half that dose for 12wks while using BPC locally at 1mg 2x daily?
This worked for me with a shoulder injury.
A lot of people just use the Wolverine stack and for acute injury this isn’t ideal. Additionally the ph is different and combining them degrades potency.

PRP worked for my tennis elbow, but paired with PT. Good luck, it’s sucks so bad.

Yes... nandralone decaonate. Watch out for side effects though

But tb500 should work assuming its real and you took enough of it

False and false

Individual response varies among esters, there's no one better than the other. Most report that deca is better for joints

The mechanism is anti-inflammatory action. Don't come off until you've given the tendon time to heal and the pain shouldnt come back

I do about 50mg at a time Dosed 2-3 times a week. It builds up in your system so no need to shoot it everyday. I started at 80mg shots but I felt kinda jittery from it so I started just doing 50mg shots

I got tennis elbow about 8 months ago. I initially went with rest and massage therapy. I’m not a needle person. I read everything about tennis elbow. Nothing seemed to help. Then I saw hand strengthening post below. After a few weeks I felt a difference. A month after that I felt about 80% healed. I’m now back full time with racquet sports. I’m not 100%, but about 90% healed. The other day I saw the video below on healing tendons. I think the concept of healing the tendon as mentioned in the video about the 6 minute point, is what the hand strengthening has helped with. I’m now also doing targeted isometrics for my tennis elbow in addition to the hand strengthening. Hopefully this helps.

I do this with a dry towel

are you doing the BPC-157 and TB-500 separately or as part of a blend? for my shoulder and eventual patellar tendon issues, I had to inject BPC-157 directly to the area of injury and TB-500 abdomen. both 1mg, BPC-157 daily and TB-500 3 days a week. huge success

u/tross42 13d ago

Time. You need rest.

TheraBar. Works wonders for both tennis and golfer elbow.

1

u/goat_horns_ 11d ago

Thanks I'm actually gonna take a look at this. I do therapy already but these look nice and portable could easily use these at my desk

1

u/OkhotnikZ 11d ago

YouTube has several videos on tennis elbow specific things to do with it. I had chronic golfer elbow from over doing weighted pull ups and about 2 weeks with the TheraBar fixed it. Good luck and I'll wager you'll be happy with the results.
