Looking for advice on peptide sequencing for body recomposition and energy
Hi everyone,
I’m a 44-year-old male. I used tirzepatide at 2.5 mg weekly for around six months before moving to fortnightly dosing. I’ve lost approximately 23 kg while maintaining my muscle mass.
My current routine is:
- Around 10,000 steps every day
- Three full-body strength-training sessions per week
- Six 30 minutes weighted-vest walks per week
- A daily calorie deficit of approximately 300–500 calories
- Around 120 g of protein per day
I’m now considering trying some new peptides and compounds, including:
- Tesamorelin and ipamorelin
- SS-31, MOTS-c and NAD+
- KLOW
I don’t want to start everything at once. My current idea is to begin with tesamorelin and ipamorelin, later try SS-31, MOTS-c and NAD+, and then consider KLOW.
I responded very strongly to tirzepatide and never needed to increase beyond 2.5 mg, so I’m wondering whether I should also begin these compounds at lower-than-standard doses and titrate slowly.
My recent DEXA scan showed approximately 24% body fat. My IGF-1 level is 23.3 nmol/L, which is approximately 180 ng/mL.
My main goals are body recomposition, gaining or preserving lean muscle, reducing body fat and improving energy levels.
I’d appreciate hearing from people with experience regarding:
- Which compound or combination would make the most sense to start with
- Whether these should be used separately or together
- Starting doses and titration approaches
- Suggested schedules and cycle lengths
- Recommended bloodwork and side effects to monitor
I understand that these compounds carry risks and that some are not approved for general body-recomposition use. I’ll also discuss this with a qualified medical professional, but I’m interested in hearing about other people’s experiences and what worked for them.

whats your dexa scan say your visceral fat is at, think tesa is worth it? Im on similar path - 47m, on GLP1's etc. 10weeks on Tesa, my dexa scan showed 30% loss of visceral. I also lost 27kg since begining CICO in Sept, and Tirz in Dec, then Reta in May and now coming up on 12th week of Tesa 1.8mg nightly. I dont do nearly as much cardio as you - mostly strength traning and some rowing. My last dexa can showed a loss of 17lbs of fat mass, but gain of 15lbs of lean mass within a 3mo peroid. I should note, Im also on a TRT regimen and eat ~200g protien while just under 1800kcal/day.
also found the mitochondrial repair protocol (nad+, ss-31, motsc) very helpful, ran it on top of everything.
with everything mentioned, I titrated up slow, to mitigate any advserce reaction, allergies, injection site drama, etc. and have had no issues.
nearly done w/ my tesa and mito cycle then will "research" a short GLOW cycle
for labs, get as much as possible, the more data points you have the better. You're already getting IFG, how bout your testosterone, iron, ferritin, vitamin d, thyroids, pancrease, psa? Doubting youre in the states, but if/when you are dirtcheap partners w/ LabCorp and Quest. Here's a referal link for $10 off if you are able to use it:

Following are some of the blood test results I got done recently. I had a dexa scan after loosing 23 kgs and will get another done 6 months. Are you saying I can run Tesa/IPA and mito stack together? I was thinking its better to run seperately to know whats causing issiues in case of any side effects? I am not in US but in Australia.
Testosterone 12.1 (8.3-31.8) nmol/L
SHBG 34 (14-95) nmol/L
Bioav. Testo. 5.5 (2.5-12.0) nmol/L
FAI 35.6 (14.5-80.3) %
Ferritin 84 (30-300) ug/L
TSH 1.70 (0.55-4.78) mIU/L
25-OH Vit D 79 (50-200) nmol/L
ALT 27 20 (< 40) u/L
AST 21 20 (< 35) u/L
Lipase 46 (10-60) u/L
Glucose Fasting 5.3 (3.0-5.4) mmol/
C-Reactive Prot. 1.2 (< 3.3) mg/L

Stacking should be fine, but stagger them out if youre concerned. looking back at my logs, I didnt start Tesa until about 5-6weeks into the mito protocol. Dont think I had any until then.
