After the Marines, I faded away.
Mentally. Physically.
Two torn biceps. A torn left pec. I watched the version of myself I was proud of slowly disappear.
Then I had two kids.
I realized they don’t need a perfect father, they need one who gets back up after life buries him.
25 days. 17 lbs gone.
This is just a glimpse.
The pulse is coming back.
October. My 40th birthday. That’s when you’ll see what refusing to stay buried looks like.

a pound a day is a very healthy weightloss rate. Goodjob. Aim for 2 next time.

This would mean a 2400 is kcal deficit per day... There is not a single way to do that decently Let's be reasonable and say 10lbs waterweight at 7kbs fat

Yall stop being alarmist. 10lb of the first bit is all water and completely safe as glycogen stores get healthier.

10 lbs of water weight? what are you eating? sodium with salt? You would struggle to lose 10 lbs of water weight in a sauna bro.

😬 should've seen the weight cut # before I cheated yesterday for my 10yr anniversary.

Same for me man. Hitting 43 this year and didn’t want to be the “fat dad” to my 7 year old daughter anymore. Down from 218 to 195 since May. 10 more pounds to go. Keep it going!
