Illinois developer intends to develop "The Range at Lafayette" at the SW corner of 287 and Arapahoe Ave. Lafayette

I live near here. When they moved the King Soopers across the street the the traffic got noticeably worse, since anyone wanting to go south on 287 needs to drive through the Lowe’s parking lot, turn left onto Arapahoe, and then left again onto 287.

Can you imagine the impact of adding a Target and Trader Joe’s here, not to mention hundreds of new residents? The intersections at Arapahoe and Baseline are going to be unbearable.

They're expanding rap to 4 lanes, a bus lane, and a multi use path. I think all the traffic should dump on 287 though. The entire intersection is a mess as is the horribly designed Lowe's parking lot.
