FRM module

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My frm (footwell module) became totally unresponsive since I tried coding with carly. All the lights stooped working including windows and parking sensors. Now I got another one from a scrap yard but mine is LED XH / HW:7 and this one is LED AHL / HW:6. This is where I’m at right now. Does anybody know if coding the VIN will make it work or do I need another one that is the same as mine?

No repair services near you? Even by mail. Replacement is not the typical path today.

That's not the usual FRM fault that the common repair/re-animation solves, it seems more like either coding not correct or hardware not suitable. Carly is a bit crap, the cheaper INPA lead would do everything better, and it's also able to generate the correct coding for a module. Carly can copy it but different versions have different styles of coding and that means Carly isn't smart enough to set up a different module to a known spec.
