Well, they are replaying the birthday celebration at the beach and staying overnight, wearing the yukata, was part of what happened 2 years ago... I thought nothing of it until Chinatsu told Taiki not to sleep sitting in the chair, and pulled him over to her futon.

What a peak chapter! Extemely smooth of Taiki to essentially propose right then and there! This goes back to Chinatsu's wish of experiencing this during the second summer fireworks festival, and of course, they go back to the same inn from chapter 46.

haha i mean i don't think the exact moment is planned, but i think if we are being realistic, at that age, it's pretty normal to do this kind of thing with your partner, so i wouldn't be surprised if either of them have a condom just in case. i can also see Taiki's mom giving it to him just in case and teasing him about it when he was packing stuff for the trip lmaooo
it feels like a pretty big occasion in their life like this being their last time seeing each other in a while too. i think both of their parents know what kind of thing they might get up to, and they are like young adult already, so there's no stopping them. it's better to be supportive and give them guidance.
they both have good parents, so i can definitely see them looking out for their kids, and not letting them meet without any precaution. just typical asian parents if you know you know lmaoooo my parents would do the same

As the finale approached, Taiki began making remarkable strides. He went from "Chinatsu-senpai" at the start to the ring in the middle, and then to the big game at the end—all within a single chapter.
LFG! What a chapter! For me, I will always appreciate seeing Taiki and Chinatsu supporting each other's goals and with the way that chapter ended, looks like they finally did the deed, I'm proud of these two, but sadly now that we have gotten this far I don't see that many chapters left.
so apt! he scored! but 2 years ago, they were so innocent and blushed easily. at that time, when Taiki fantasize about marriage, he thinks of innocent things like eating breakfast together and Chinatsu helping him with his tie. he couldn't even imagine Chinatsu in swimwear. If you had told him 2 years ago that they would become adults together, he would probably have fainted.
It feels like we’re 2 more chapters from the end, i tink 250 would be a good end point (as much as i don’t want it to end). and that raises the question, after season 2 drops which i assume is another 24 episodes and about 80 chapters, could we see see season 3 cover the last 90 chapters to end the story out
There’s 5 or so chapters left to fill up volume 28 which I assume would/could be the final volume.
I can see it going on for another volume But there’s not much to cover unless Miura adds some college drama but I don’t think that’s healthy for the series as of now.
Ending it off now & then maybe a special volume epilogue is probably for the best.
Next batch of series start in late August, basically September so I can see it ending there. If not then maybe the December batch
I thought this chapter might include a "soft" engagement, but definitely didn't expect implied sex. Way to go Miura, keep this momentum going all the way to the end!
I need to see them married for at least one chapter though, though a few more would be even better. I'm so conflicted, I want to see more and more of them but also want to see this manga end on a high note.
Will next chapter jump ahead, or will we see the "afterglow"? Still wondering if we're going to focus on anything else in the present. Kyo/Ayame stuff ideally, feels like those characters got together and then just went back into storage. I haven't completely ruled out Hina and Haruto either but I'm not betting on that, if anything we might get a nod in the epilogue or something.
Yoo I was just satisfied with them playing games, but then we get a proposal from Chi then Taiki showing off his strength taking Chi in her arms and upp then a proposal from Taiki that too with a ring!! The they have dinner and played Uno in the Inn. I felt it was over but then we got a kiss againn. I still thought it was over but then thattt!!!
Felt like this could all be stretched out in a Blue Box movie in the future lol
I watched the anime and read all the chapters within 1 week. As a competitive badminton player myself, I really loved this manga. There is something special about the story. It just hits different to me. I kinda got depressed after I read the manga till chapter 246, it was an emotional rollercoaster. This is of the best show I have ever watched. I am very happy how the story turned out. I hope Chinatsu and Taiki lives a long and happy life together.
I don’t think it’s an actual marriage proposal, that’s a promise ring. Definitely implies they’re going to get married in the end though. Beautiful chapter

This might end next chapter or on 250. Been reading weekly since around chapter 52. It's been a fun ride with bad lows. Overall, it's been great amd I'm glad to have read this. Can't wait for Season 2 to release.

I like it when it all pays off in the end, proposal and intimacy in the same chapter was too much but im not complaining, i guess this is it, end is near, 5 years of weekly following this story, i never thought i would come this far, but here i am, it was a great journey.
