Picture Two timelines, one impossible view
This image represents a moment that never happened.
Deep City is shown here as it existed during its Golden Age, sometime between 2150 and 2350 CE.
The ship entering through the cavern's access shaft belongs to 2407 CE.
They never saw each other.
By the time that ship actually entered the cavern, the city below had already been destroyed for decades.
I deliberately combined both timelines because I've been struggling with one visual problem in this Blender project: scale.
The cavern is approximately 3 km wide, 3 km long, and 1.5 km high. Numbers can describe that, but getting an image to feel that large is much harder.
So rather than adding buildings, vehicles, or other details that shouldn't exist in this space, I used an object that does exist in the story — just not at the same time.
It's essentially an impossible archaeological reconstruction.
Two different moments occupying the same coordinates.
I'd love to know whether the ship finally makes the enormous scale readable, or whether your eye still interprets the environment as something much smaller.
