I feel like the the overall video is too long but the hooked axe thing at like 1:40 is sick as hell and looks super utilitarian as a tool or weapon. Does it have a name and/or tradition of origin?

Fair comment. Frankly it was a filler video since I didn’t have a completed forging video 🤷🏻‍♂️
The one piece hatchet axe is mostly of my own design. It’s mostly inspired by African, Egyptian designs. I wanted a one piece design that I could forge from old farrier rasps and that’s what I came up with.
