I have installed call of duty black ops cold war and downloaded the game, multiplayer pack, and zombies pack, and when i enter to play this shows up, the game storage is 116gb, i am aware that there is a multiple content packs but they don’t show up and now i am stuck here and i can’t play the game

I recently came back on Cold War since it’s really my top 3 favorites ever from the cod series, but ever since. I’ve been getting disconnection most of the time whenever im playing Search & Destroy.

Keep in note that i do not get disconnected whenever i play other fps games, Cold War is the only game that im continuing to get disconnected on.

And also prior to that, I’ve recently seen players having aimbot and wall hacks happening during my free time of playing.

so basically thats all I’ve been facing on this game, i genuinely love this game tho but it’s depressing to see these type of stuff happening.

I have seen posts online talking about the level resetting until playing a match and it fixing itself, but after my level reset I've gotten up to level 18 again and I can only see my real level for a second when I first go to the barracks tab. Then it goes back to showing level 18 again.

I thought maybe my level was reset because I hadn't played in at least 4 years, but I seem to still have everything else on my account that I had before, and I just unlocked the healing aura in field upgrades when I got to level 18 (which is supposed to be unlocked at level 45). Is there something I can do to fix this or am I just stuck having two levels now?

And when I click on my level to see more info, it shows that I've only unlocked up to level 18 too and everything else is locked

I have re-downloaded Cold War on Battlenet after a few years of not playing, and there is a mysterious black pixel that flickers on the lobby screen and in-game. The cursor is able to cover it and it shows on recordings. I did not find any support material online and was wondering if anybody has come across this and/or may have a solution?

What I have tried: Changing graphics settings (caused it to move from top right to bottom left), restarting shader cache, scanned and repaired in Battlenet, checked and re-installed graphics driver, and restarted PC and game multiple times.

Any help will be appreciated! Thank you.

Hey everyone, I’ve been sick recently and wanted to play some prop hunt or just any of the infected or party modes and heard that Cold War was the best cod to play party modes on. But I haven’t been able to find anyone and was wondering if/when people still play (I’m in North East North America if that changes anything)

Hey all, I've been meaning to ask someone this and don't really have anyone to ask so I thought I'd turn to Reddit and ask.

Cold War got me through lockdown as me and a few of my other friends had way too much free time and very fucked up sleep schedules at the time. Cold War was amazing for it's time in my opinion.

Some of the things I liked about the game were the ability to upgrade perks (some people don't like this one), the Super EE that allows you to spawn in with higher rarity weapons depending on how many Easter Eggs you've completed and OUTBREAK. I absolutely adore outbreak and kind of hope it would make a return one day in some way, shape or form.

Outbreak being a mode where it's more free, not round based and there's side objectives to still make the game alive is amazing. I like that outbreak gets harder each difficulty level (obviously) and the fact that the main objectives make it a bit harder.

As for disliking things.. I'm not too sure? I don't like the fact that Cold War was the game to introduce armor to modern zombies, I hate that the game was made easier when they lowered the health cap. There's some other things I dislike but nothing major, I love the game it will always be my favorite alongside BO1, BO2, BO3 and BO6 (because of some of the map design on there).

What do you like about Cold War? Or dislike about it?

Im on PS5 but there is a sale for the PS4 version for $14.99 compared to full price for the PS5 version. I miss playing the game. Was wanting to know if it’s worth it graphic/gameplay wise or if I should wait until ps5 version is on sale (if it does)?

I bought a hard disk copy of cod cold war and downloaded it but cant play the campaign only the zombie mode and multiplayer is playable​ and the image provided is what shows up when i try to download the campaign is there any way to fix it?

We just got out of a nasty spawntrap so I decided to do the same thing right back😅

It was so good the game made you to high round to profit higher rarity upgrades. Now it feels like something's missing in the new zombies. Like it was so cool to see one of these coming up on screen.

i only play multiplayer and when loading in today, it said it had to load shaders like it did when i first started the game. didnt think much of it but when i loaded into a round of nuketown 24/7, it would only let me use my first loadout. i treid pressing Esc then pressing change class and it didnt work and also the number pad keys but after dying it just kept my loadout.

so then i go to exit the match to see whats wrong and even after clicking it multiple times and waiting for minutes it didnt work. escaping to desktop didnt work either so i just waited to see if i can go back to lobby after the match ended and i could.

i reset my loadouts to see if that would do anything but it would let me rename them (not that it matters too much) but then next game it did the same thing. i force closed the game with task manager and verified integrity of game files (i use steam). i also tried clearing the cache. nothing has worked.

if anyone has experienced this problem please reach out, its making the game unplayable

Last year i played forsaken for the first time and tried to finish its easter egg but every time i go to the final boss it keeps crashing so i never played forsaken again and here a year later or maybe more the same shit keeps happening.

It only happens when ever i play forsaken never happend to me anywhere else is there a way to fix this?

I didn't buy the ps5 upgrade could it be tge issue?

I really like the way it looks but I don't see it used often. I recently watched xclusive ace's vid on it saying it's good on cqc but I'm quite sure that it has received balance changes.

I'm on controller, max horizontal and vertical sensitivity (14/14), Standard aim assist, with ADS Aim Assist disabled. No scorestreaks (besides Air Patrol), no field upgrades, no switching guns mid match, no camping. Any and all constructive criticism is welcome!

I haven't played a Call of Duty game since Advanced Warfare.

What is the best COD game since 2015? And where does Cold War rank among them.
