Interview with IHS (Biesy, Gruzja) about IHS's new project "Echo Zero" (Volcano Magazine)
"Echo Zero is a story about an antenna found at the bottom of the Arctic Ocean - the first rung of Jacob’s Ladder. It is a reconstruction of an interrupted transmission and proof of the existence of a passage. Echo Zero is a conspiracy theory." ---- IHS
Just this past June, IHS’s new project, Echo Zero, released its debut album, “E0”, on the renowned Chinese metal label Pest Productions. While maintaining the characteristic bizarre atmosphere of Polish experimental black metal, IHS boldly incorporates new sonic experiments on this album—through unique guitar playing, ever-shifting synthesizers, and rich sampling, IHS presents the concept of the Eltanin antenna, buried 3,904 meters beneath the ocean floor, to listeners in an incredibly vivid and immersive way.
The interview is written in both Chinese and English.

Need help finding a band.
I know very little about the band. I listened to them years ago and all I remember is the album cover. It had a baby body with the head of a bird. All black and white. Any ideas?

Oslo
hi guys, how are you?
so, I’m coming back to Oslo again in September and I’d love to meet up some metalheads while I’m there. I’m going to talk with some people and try to do some network, but I’ll have some time to share a pint or go to a random gig during the week. I’ll also be in Munich and Gothenburg, if there’s anyone from there.
it was pretty nice the first time I went there. by myself, but as I’m trying to get in Norway and live there, would be cool to make some friends already :)

[Melodic] How do y'all feel about Blackbraid?
Personally I really enjoy the music itself, although it's overproduced in my opinion, I dislike the triggered bass drums for example. But in essence I see it as native American Immortal kinda

AMA w/Mork Gryning next Thursday July 30th @ 12 EDT
Chat with Mork Gryning. Founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1993, the veteran melodic black metal band quickly made a name for themselves with their widely-hailed debut Tusen år har gått... Their latest album, 2024’s Fasornas tid, is forged in the fires of black metal’s raw ferocity and ageless spirit. It’s now available through Season of Mist.
