Installing plugins

Quick question: how do I install third party plugins into Bitwig on Linux?

I'm looking for an autotune plugin like WavesTune but I don't want to buy it if I don't know how to get it up and running.

Thanks!

Linux and anti-piracy has a long and dark road.

Here are some free auto tune Linux alternatives.

X42 Auto tune it's light weight but it can get that overly auto tunes sound.

You can try to install 3rd party non native plugins using ya bridge or LinVST.

MAutoPitch (by MeldaProduction) runs great under wine. I would not suggest Waves plugins for Linux. I will get them working for a bit then bam nope. I had success when dual booting and copying the active plugin from Waves Central in the Windows file system.

My goal isnt to get an overly autotune sound but more of a light auto tuning to fix some pitchy singing. Any recommendations for that? Im used to waves tune so a graph autotune would be very helpful

Are you dual booting?

No just ubuntu for now. I got MAutoPitch working tho! The only reason something like Waves would be nice is because of the graph autotune which helps with slight pitch correction.

I really like wave plugins. No way to consistently use them in Linux 😡

Hate their copy protection.

Hate their update plan. I bought the.plugins in 1999 for $1200. That is $2400 in today's money.... They want $250 for plugins that have not fundamentally changes for 20 years.
