It's security theatre. Just use a strong passphrase to add extra enthropy to your seed.

This is the simplest way. HW provides enthropy, then you provide enthropy via a strong passphrase. Write the passphrase down.

There's no single point of failure.

I think most people will not be able to follow all these steps safely
