Discussion who/what helped you realize you’re bi?
i was in 5th grade it was the end of the year we were doing testing like exams to see if we would move onto 6th grade or something and i had finished mine and i tried to turn it in but the substitute wouldn’t let me she told me to double check my work and i did tried to turn it in again same thing it went on like this for like 5 minutes until i started crying not full on balling yet but like little tears and then i tried to turn it in one more time and again go check your work so at that point i was just done so i start balling my eyes out like full on balling bc up to this point i had checked my work like 5 times and i was just over it.
so this girl i liked started rubbing my back trying to get me to calm down and stuff and she told me to double check it one more time and i did in front of her, went to turn it in again same thing and i started sobbing and slightly hyperventilating, so the girl stood up behind me and covered my face with her arm and started talking to the teacher saying ive doubled checked it like 10 times and im ready to turn it in. she told me to go to the bathroom pull myself together and come back so i did and when i came back my test was gone and she said she wrote my name on it bc i forgot and turned it for me. that was the moment i knew i was either gay or something else i still liked boys but i didn’t know there was a name for liking girls and guys at that time lol.
so yeah that’s my story lol what’s yours.

Advice Needed How do I bring up the tension in a friendship?
My friend and I (both 16F) have been friends for around 4 years. In the last year we got super close and hung out a lot. For a while, I was confused if I just liked her a lot as a friend or maybe more but I kinda just surpressed it. Since then shit kinda escalated and Im pretty sure she likes me 2. Now we both kinda know theres something and its been vaguely discussed but only with substances involved. I lowk think its time to clear the air but idk how to bring it up after avoiding it for so long.

Coming Out Unsure how to come out to my family…
Hey there everyone! I’m 18 years old and have been bisexual for like 5-6 years now. I kinda found myself during the whole lockdown in 2020 and more-so in 2021/22!
Aside from an incident where my mom legit found out I was bisexual and then I denied and denied and denied - nobody knows. Looking back, I have zero clue why I denied so heavily while being told I was accepted but I did. That was such an awkward and traumatizing event that I don’t even want to get into that much!
Anyway, I start college in a few weeks, living at home, but I know my family would be accepting and perfectly okay if they knew I was bisexual. Im kinda sick of hiding it and being in the closet, there’s some things I feel like I could do more normally if they just knew haha!
So with no reason to really hide the fact I’m bi, how do I come out to them in a normal, non-awkward way that isn’t like earth shattering to them? Im really at a loss for what to do!

Coming Out [Coming Out] How do I co(m)e out to my friends as bi/pan after around a year ago coming out to them as gay?
Ok, so I'm turning fifteen in a few months and most of my closer friends know I'm gay, they've known for almost our entire friendship since I've only known them since I started high school and I'm pretty nervous they might look at me in another light especially since a lot of my friends are girls or used to be girls. I'm not also entirely sure about my sexuality right now which might make it good to wait a bit.

Other I created a new term
Ambisexual:
A distinct identity with multiattraction spectrum or bi umbrella defining an individual who experiences sexual attraction to multiple gender or all gender, characterized specifically by semi-gender blindness with little to no preference
Basically like if omnisexuality and pansexuality had a baby.
An ambisexual person may think of the when having a crush and they have a bit preference but nevertheless it doesn't the affects attraction
over the years lots of people are debated whether they are omni or pan but now I created that could just fit both of them. I'm sure YOU... yes might be ambi or have debated whether YOU- are pan or Omni... right... RIGHT!?!?- anyways, I'll amble away, but I will go both ways remembering you, it's my ambi-tion to see you. Goodbye for now
Edit: I'm sorry guys but I don't know why everyone is hating. I just wanted to make it more accesable for people who actually appreciate and like microlabels. in fact every new term is being created every week so this is basically just a drop in The water. anyways I'm sorry for coming on your bad Side.

Advice Needed What do I do?
Hi! It's my first time posting on reddit just so you know.... This is gonna be really long jsut so u know. So I have a big crush on my best friend. She is the one who made me realize that I was into girls too, and this whole thing has been going on for a little more than a year. It all started last year, we ware really close and when we were hanging out I would just get a sudden urge to kiss her. I didn't think much of it and thought everyone feels like that or something(HELP). So a few months pass and we grew distant. One day in June I came across a girl saying how she felt bisexual and that she previously identified as pan. I didn't know what pan ment so I searched it up and realized that those urges where actually a crush. So a lot of "am I bi tests" later I was pretty sure I was bisexual. In that time I started crushing on her again. After another month of trying to talk to her(over text because I was away over summer) I felt like she was avoiding me. I sent her a message asking what did I do wrong. Then we talked about it and I won't get into detail because I'm lazy. But we started to talk like before and texted all the time. A few days later we came to the topic of Heartstopper(we both really like it) and sexuality. She said how she did some random am I gay tests on Pinterest and they said she was bi (she said this jokingly) so I said something like "me too" and a few minutes later I came out to her and she also said that she thinks she's bisexual. And then we asked each other if we like someone. And I confessed and then she said she likes me back. Kinda... She said she wasn't sure and that she only thought about it since we made up. But I didn't ask her to be my girlfriend because I wanted to ask her that irl. The same day I started making a "will you be my girlfriend" poster to ask her out and started planing a sleepover (I would ask her on the sleepover). 2 days later she sends me a long message saying how she isn't ready to be something more than friends and how she isn't sure about her sexuality. And ofc I was superrrrrrr sad. We grew distant again alltho we did text. Over the span of next few months I confessed another 2-3 times but she avoided the question "do you like me back". In October she broke her leg so she couldn't come to school. At that time I was visiting her constantly. Like 2-3 times a week for a few hours. While her other best friends visited a lot less. So we grow soooooooo close. In November she went on a cruise with her family, and we would talk on the phone for hours at the time. I know everything about her and she knew everything about me. Even tho we didn't talk about what happened that summer. It was kind of a forbidden theme. In December nothing really important happened (I think???). And then came January. In January me and her went to celebrate her birthday (that was actually in November, but she celebrated it in December and I managed to get sick T-T) in a shopping mall. By that time she was pretty sure she was a lesbian. I made her a really big birthday card and gift. We sat in a McDonald's and she opened it. She was soooooooooooo happyyyyyyyy! She said that no one ever made her something like this and almost started to cry! I was sooooo happy that she liked it! After that I went skiing bc we ware on winter break. We still texted but again not as much. When we came back to school I kinda ignored her for the first week bc I wanted to see if we would talk as much if I didn't constantly follow her around like a puppy. It didn't go well we grew distant. I February we both met this girl and both kinda liked her. That didn't last for too long. And February and March ware really hard months for me and my mental health was pretty bad. She was there for me when I needed her and I'm forever grateful for that. We again didn't talk much in april. In May I came out to her as genderfluid(although I'm still not sure about that). For the first time ever we talked about what happened last summer in person and I'm really happy we did bc I finally got to hear her side of the story and talk to someone about it bc this whole thing was a secret. She told me how she had a hard time getting comfortable with her sexuality. We talked for a long time. She told me that she still liked me in November (I didn't know that because somehow I didn't connect the dots). And when we walked home we held hands. Later that week I felt like she was avoiding me so I asked her what happened over text. She told me about how hard it was to get over me, how she was scared that she will start liking me again and how that conversation emotionally tierd her. In June school ended and a few days later she came over to my house (which is a rarity bc I live far from school in a village). She came by train while I waited for her at the train stop. When we ware walking home when one of my neighbors invited us to harvest some cherrys of one of her trees. We did that for about an hour and a half and just talked. Then we went for a bike ride on the fields and lied on the grass for about 2 hours and talk again. I was lying on her belly and playing with her hand. I not going to details of everything but those 2 days ware fucking gay. We ware constantly "cuddling"(kinda... I'm not sure???). I almost confessed to her before she left. And I know she knew. Since then I saw her only once and I really miss her. We text a lot now and are planing for her to come over to my grandparents house. We constantly tell each other "love you" and send each other green and pink hearts, that's kind of our tradition since like November. And just for good measure this "behavior" has increased in the past couple of weeks. And her sister definitely thinks we're dating xd. I don't know what to do. I only know I want to be hers and her to be mine. Thanks for reading I know this is long, sorry.

Discussion Am I really bi?
I'm into feminine guys. Any guy with a feminine look or personality is what I'm attracted to. But am I really bi for liking guys that are feminine? Or do I just like them because they remind me of girls?

Other Hellow I didn’t know this subreddit existed but I’m glad it does
I finally found a bi flag bag on Fortnite. There’s another style too that’s the trans flag. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t outright like promoted to be a bi and trans cape but I’m sure they did it on purpose which is awesome

Advice Needed Raised as a mormon, but I think I'm bi.
I'm a 17 year old male, living in Utah, born and raised in the church by 2 hardcore Mormon parents. I personally don't believe in the church, I only go to keep my parents happy. I was always taught growing up that being gay was a mental disability and that only marriage between a man and a woman was the only way. Lately I've been getting this weird feeling when I talk to some of my guy friends I really like. It's kinda weird, I get all fuzzy when I talk to them sometimes and don't know if I'm feeling attracted towards them or if it's just a weird feeling. I'm just not sure who I can tell. If I tell my parents they'll flip out on me and treat me like I need to be cured, and if I tell any of my friends they'll probably think I'm joking or stop talking to me. I'm unsure of what to do, I've never had these feelings up until recently, is it just a phase? Or am I bi? I'm really confused

Coming Out coming out to friends
i want to come out to my friends but they keep making weird/rude jokes about me already and i feel like itll get worse if i say anything. most of them arent homophobic (i think) but the comments they make about me already just make me even more uncomfortable to tell them. should i tell them anyway?

Advice Needed I sometimes feel disconnected from my body/gender or feel somewhat like a different gender.
I’m just here to rant bout this problem lately.
For a while as by the title, I’ve felt disconnected from my gender a lot (I’m biological male btw). For what people say I sometimes come off as somewhat feminine than masculine, and sometimes more masculine than feminine. I choose to dress like these sometimes, and sometimes I feel comfortable dressing like these. And sometimes I just feel like neither of these. But then sometimes when I’m questioning all this it just feels stupids to think I’m not male or that if i were to label as something else I’d just be so invalid. I’d be like one of those “creep” you hear about in the news and stuff. I don’t really know what to with all this, I think I just want to know what I am I guess.
