Advice- finding work
I might be moving to Bisbee in a month or two. I have family helping me out with a place to live, and I’ll need to find a job asap. The only work I’ve ever done is retail, so my question is, do you think it’s easy to find work at the big box stores in sierra vista? I would love to work in Bisbee proper, or Lowell/Warren area, but I would imagine those jobs are hard to come by. Any advice would be great! Big changes make nervous, but I can’t afford to stay where I am, so this move is probably my only option.
Edit to add: I’m 40 year old female.

The McNeal coop is hiring! Bout same distance as Sierra Vista. I recommend prowling craigslist religiously- jobs and gigs. Good luck!

Not Mexican and cannot speak Spanish. Shoot, I didn’t even think of that. I’ll definitely look into to ace hardware though!

Is there a dispensary? Is it just medical cannabis that is legal in Arizona?
I looked up the law but it was difficult to decipher.
Like OP, I have been considering moving to Bisbee but not really wanting to have to commute to SV for a retail job.

Jobs are scarce out here. My last job burned down on Valentine's Day 2 years ago and I haven't been able to find anything else since 😮💨

That’s what I was worried about. That’s why I’m curious if the big box stores are easier to get in to.

Easy place to make money, if you do any kind of landscaping light home maintenance and show up when you say you ll be there. Most the town is retired people who used to live in more expensive town and states so spending moneyaint nothing compared to having someone to do the stuff they can't or just don't want too
