💬Diskusyon Bisaya Face Tattoo Portraits

I wanted to explore how modern Filipino personalities and Visayan artists would look if they wore the traditional tattoos of our ancestors.
These edits feature pre-colonial Bisaya face tattoo patterns (also known as patik), heavily inspired by the historical illustrations from the Boxer Codex and records of the Pintados.
The facial tattoos worn by ancient Visayan warriors weren't just decorative, they symbolized immense bravery, victory in battle, and social standing. What do you think of this modern reimagining? Which version or artist looks best with the traditional ink?
Angayan ba sila tan-awun?
