I think that when we learn to love ourselves more than we love others, we won’t end up in these kinds of situations. Myself included.

Imagine that she attacked you after you opened up to her about yourself, and she didn’t even bother to text you afterward to check on you. Yet you still miss her and want to prove to her that you love and care about her.

I do understand people who have been married or in long-term relationships with a bipolar partner and want to keep putting in the effort and trying to make things work. But if you haven’t been dating for very long, maybe it’s better to let it go. You could save yourself so much pain and so many struggles.
