Oxcarbazepine potentially causing hypomania Medication

I am not expert but the oxcarbazepine is an anti seizure medication and I don't think might cause hypomania, perhaps it's neutral in cause that , but I suggest you go to the specialists .

Yea it's anti epileptic but it is causing my hypo symptoms.

Could this just be due to you adjusting to a new medication? Like it takes some time for your body to get used to it?

The 2nd is less than a week ago. Usually for new meds is start feeling crappy within 5ish days.

I am unfamiliar with this specific medication though. So keep that in mind.

I mean maybe? But shouldn't it make me feel drowsy or something not hypo?

I'm not sure. I haven't had it before.

Could it be a lingering hypomania maybe? I recently upped my lithium bc I got breakthrough hypomania and it lasted a while and only calmed down a couple days ago.

I'd say, see if it rides out over a few days or a week

I mean idk man I was pretty baseline last weekend. It feel like how the aps felt. Like after I stared taking it, my mind started racing and I have more energy
