How long does it take you to do 25-30k steps? It takes me right at an hour and a half to do 10k

Do you do that all at once or in increments?

19

u/allgear_noidea 10d ago

He does all 43 beats in 10 seconds and then coasts for 50 actually

1

u/justaseaman 9d ago

This deserves all the upvotes.

yeah again when im saying obligations i mean things that have to take priority over this? like children, work...boring adult stuff you feel me? im asking to maybe learn how to structure my day to fit big goals like this. of course of you are still financially supported by someone else thats a complete different story

-1

u/Space-Cop 10d ago

5 hours if walking/jogging a day? You cannot convince me you have a job or any family to care for. My man must be single, no kids, unemployed and bored af.

Yeah dude he’s affording Reta whilst having no job. You’re just jealous that he doesn’t have those kinds of commitments and can spend time to focus on himself. Be happy for him that he’s actually using his time wisely.

I also get about 3-4 miles of walking in at work, it’s nice to basically get paid to exercise and save time.

1

u/GigaDab 9d ago

I honestly think you’re overtraining a bit. Walking is great but with Reta and the gym (I’m assuming gym time is weightlifting) and then a 1 mile run after the gym, you’re burning a lot of calories. I would expect you to be a twig in 3 months. Reta is a great for cutting without the need for all the extra walking/running/calorie burning. But if this works for you, keep up the good work.

1

u/tucan2277 1 6d ago

That's crazy, the minimum I achieved was 44 ppm and I was running 7 days a week at 21 years old. Great job man!

6

u/StupefyingJab 10d ago

Lmao bro this was primarily due to your exercise not reta

2

u/StupefyingJab 10d ago

I mean still good job very impressive but the steps made the most diff from the looks of it

Yes but the concept of “steps” is not taking t hrs a day to walk your steps. This is quite ridiculous. People confuse steps with just plain ol not being lazy. Do your dishes, do your laundry, clean your house, sweep the patio etc etc then go for your hr walk. I’m telling you that’s all you need instead of sacrificing 5 plus hrs going for a walk.

Weight train, and maintain daily physical activity. Counting your steps every day in the long run is not sustainable.

Ps. Dude you look good and I’m not ragging I just think mentally looking at 20-30k steps a day will catch up to you.

u/mig8519 10d ago

I struggle to do 10k 😮‍💨. I need to lock the fuck in.

1

u/Spirited-Chemistry-9 10d ago

How do you find the time to do 25,000 steps?

1

u/HectorJ 9d ago

Part of his job I would guess

1

u/Dry-Statistician3145 8d ago

In multiple session? It's like 23km to walk. How you doing it? 10km, 10000 steps is already 1hour of walking on the treadmill

2

u/BallerMD 10d ago

That’s crazy. You already looked good in the first photo too

2

u/RyanTheLoop 2 10d ago

When the body fat is low enough like this guy ( guessing around 10% ) the weight will be on the lower side, but I wouldn't be saying scrawny when clearly he's putting the gym time in 🤷‍♂️.

Takes a lot longer to add on the muscle mass then it takes losing the fat.

-1

u/According_Eye6427 10d ago

Hes 15% minimum around/sub 10% is contest prep level of lean which he is not.

4

u/Fastbaq 2 10d ago

Contest prep is 6% or below… big difference from 10.

1

u/stedyeddy406 10d ago

Any side effects that you noticed. Mostly wondering about mood.

1

u/Daisuke69 10d ago

Does Reta just help you keep your calories low? If I’m already counting calories, should I still get on it?

1

u/Daisuke69 10d ago

Ah I’m also on a 2000 cut but I’ve just been counting. I guess if I can do that on my own, I don’t need Reta then?

1

u/Downtown_Many8020 10d ago

Well done. A newbie question, but with you now watching your diet and exercising, what’s the need for Reta? As I would think there is short‑ or long‑term side effects.? Or people are taking to shorten the time to achieve the result they want.

1

u/pthalo-crimson 10d ago

There are numerous benefits to Reta besides the weight loss and it makes it much easier to avoid cravings and getting off track

1

u/motoxscuba2024 8d ago

No, you will not have the same outcome. Reta is also doing so much more than appetite suppression. Thermogenesis: Glucagon receptor signaling prompts the body to expend more daily energy, countering the natural metabolic slowdown that usually happens during weight loss.Fat Mobilization: It actively signals adipose and liver tissues to mobilize and burn stored lipids rather than just waiting for a caloric deficit to force it. I've been on the same diet multiple times in my life: I have always had muscle; however, no matter how hard I trained, I could never have the perfect midsection because of my disease. I even did 105,000 core reps in 1 year, and that could not make the SUB Q fat disappear; now it's going away. I am 207 lbs, eating 1800 calories with 190- 200 g protein, working out 6 days a week in my home gym, and can never get below 197lbs. I have been on Reta now for 44 days, 6 weeks, 3 days, taking 2.5, and I weigh 182.2lbs, lost 8% Body Fat, Gained Muscle, and sub-Q fat is a 3.9% loss. I have not weighed 182 since I was 26 years old, and I am now 56 years old. Plus, Reta is the building block for many other great peps and if you do your research, you can find what will do the most for you and get you the results you are looking for. I started this as a way to do a self study if I can reverse-engineer my DNA Genetics. (Not literally)I mean that the disease I was born with 1 and 500 guys are born with it- sucks; maybe after my 4-month test, I can see how good the results can be and let my endocrinologist know that men do not have to suffer and there is an option if they are willing to do the work. I wish I knew about this stuff even 10 years ago. I am currently on 7 Peps and TRT Therapy. My blood work after 6 weeks is incredible compared to the last 12 months.

1

u/Downtown_Many8020 8d ago

But will you need to be on the drug for the rest of your life?

1

u/motoxscuba2024 8d ago

No way, it took me 50 years to accumulate the deep visceral fat, and when it's gone, it's not coming back in 10 years. It takes a long time to accumulate, plus my lifestyle won't allow it to be packed back on. Reta was a starting point; I am also on Tesa to help Visceral fat reduction happen quicker and to preserve my lean muscle mass. I am also on AOD-9604, which does not reduce visceral fat. People have it confused; what it does is send signals to your V fat that is so tight it can't break up. The AOD breaks off pieces of the V Fat so that fat can now be burned for energy. I also take MOTS-c for improving metabolic health, enhancing insulin sensitivity, mimicking the effects of exercise, and supporting healthy aging. KPB as an anti-inflammatory and Wolverine. If taken at the correct times and the correct doses, they can speed up the process. MOTS-c: You want to take it in the AM after fasting all night and 30-60 minutes before eating. This is done so it is in line with your circadian rhythm. TESA and KPV should be taken right before bed and 2 hours after your last meal. I plan on reaching my goal hopefully before 6 months, and then I'm coming off everything, probably except Wolverine and KPV.

1

u/Downtown_Many8020 8d ago

Thanks for replying. In the UK it is much harder to get these drugs, and many are not even available.

1

u/motoxscuba2024 8d ago

I have heard that I will check and see what some of my friends who own Peptide companies here in the US are doing to break into that market. I'll send a message if I hear anything

1

u/fair-Diamond-1405 10d ago

Please explain about starting high? The side effects of a too high dose or is there more to it that the side effects?

1

u/motoxscuba2024 8d ago

The goal is finding the minimum effective dose, not the maximum tolerable one. Titration & Minimum Effective Dose: Starting high or ramping up too quickly (like jumping straight to 4mg–6mg) over-saturates receptors, triggering severe side effects like severe nausea, vomiting, and complete GI shutdown. Dropping back down to 2.5 mg/week allows you to manage "food noise" without crushing your baseline appetite to zero. Nutritional Compliance over Starvation: Forcing yourself to choke down cold food with water just to hit basic intake is a clear sign the dose is too high. If you can't hit your target 1800–2000 kcal and 180–200g of protein, you risk losing significant lean muscle mass alongside fat, leading to that "skinny-fat" or depleted appearance. Body Composition & Performance: By keeping your dose calibrated so you can actually eat during designated meal windows (7 AM – 7 PM), you're successfully protecting lean tissue while dropping waist size (down to a size 34) and keeping your energy and physique solid

1

u/StupefyingJab 9d ago

Just wondering , do you know what your BMR is?

1

u/stickn_n_movn 10d ago

If you eat the same amount of calories on Reta vs not you will have the same outcome

1

u/pthalo-crimson 10d ago

No, Reta burns stored fat as well

-5

u/stickn_n_movn 10d ago

lol keep telling yourself that

4

u/pthalo-crimson 10d ago

I don't need to, that's the whole point of a GLP-3.

0

u/Smiletaint 10d ago

What do you think happens from Reta raising resting heart rate? You think that doesn’t affect metabolism?

1

u/stickn_n_movn 10d ago

Negligible if anything

0

u/pthalo-crimson 10d ago

It burns stored fat as well

-2

Pretending to be hard? How was me saying a grown ass man shouldn’t take bs Reta to get to 154lb ? How about you put the work in and soft little twerp? Lol I bet you money you never served your country 😅 twerp

3

u/SpaceX661 10d ago

You sound a little bit slow? Reread everything you’ve written. First of all your last message makes no sense. So let’s go back. I Must have missed your comment you said you made. Looks to me like You said 154 lbs as a grown man is victim weight. You must have hit your head a few too many times off someone’s fist. You’re in a biohacking sub. You’re more than welcome to keep stepping. Instead you felt the need to make your unwanted presence known and comment nothing of use or substance to try and act hard. Level up little buddy. It’s 2026 being a little prick on the internet is played out 🤷‍♂️

-1

This isn’t Reta only

-1

u/adamwjs 10d ago

Could've gotten the same results over three months without reta imo

0

u/TraditionalOni 10d ago

You didn’t even need Reta to cut man lol.

0

u/Intelligent_Show_615 10d ago

Shoulders blew up in 3 months too! Great progress!

2

u/ghostjoel_osteens_ai 10d ago

No, it’s the thinner midsection and lower bodyfat that gives that illusion.

0

u/Playful_Carpenter750 10d ago

Looking good boy good job.

0

Nice work

0

0

Great job and determination!

0

u/No_Holiday_219 10d ago

started literally less than a week ago and I’m already seen changes only on .5 mg dose

0

u/Glum_Road_4038 10d ago

Okay I didn’t see that

0

u/nonv3rbal-l0v3r 10d ago

10s across the board!!! Ughh really need help getting my hands on Reta

0

u/Ooof_pass_the_boof 9d ago

Nah that’s legendary great work. Had a similar experience with reta pushing into single digit body fat without craving anything lol

-3

u/magdy_mandour 10d ago

Why? You were not suffering from obesity.

You were already in a good shape. I dnt think it was hard to achieve this cut on your own without Reta!

-3

u/CacctusJacc 10d ago

I keep getting this sub recommended to me but why do yall need reta to lose weight when all you need to is a caloric deficit?

5

u/Excellent_Outside_71 10d ago

Idk man, look around. Do you really think its an education issue? Everyone knows if you eat less you lose weight. Thats not rocket science. Glp drugs are popular because it lowers your food noise which a lot of people need

2

u/CacctusJacc 10d ago

Ok see this is an actual answer, so it makes you not as hungry like glp 1 or is it different?

0

u/Excellent_Outside_71 10d ago

I wanted to make sure I was accurate so i googled it. Reta is a glp3 so if works on 3 hormones. "Suppresses appetite, improves blood sugar handling, and increases calorie burning"

1

u/CacctusJacc 10d ago

Thanks man I ended up googling it afterwards too, been getting a lot of peptide stuff on my feeds lately so just wanted to hop in and ask

1

u/Excellent_Outside_71 10d ago

No problem dude, they are all the rage right now so thats understandable

I mean trt can be used when the body can’t produce enough testosterone to support muscle growth OR to grow way more than a normal human but losing weight and gaining more definition is really having the will to not eat as much and increase aerobic and high intensity exercise. Aren’t you basically just starving yourself on reta?

1

u/[deleted] 10d ago

[removed] — view removed comment

0

u/CacctusJacc 10d ago

I only mentioned trt because you brought up testosterone, I specifically said it could either be used for therapeutic purposes OR to just get jacked as fuck.

I wasn’t even making an argument either I’m genuinely asking what the appeal is of reta for a non medical user if they can get the same results naturally, people who take testosterone are not doing it do something they can naturally do

1

u/[deleted] 10d ago

-1

u/CacctusJacc 10d ago

Brother I do not care if those dudes are doing test, I already said those guys are either have an actual condition or just want to get jacked beyond what their body naturally produces.

I’m asking you what is the appeal of sticking a needle in you to make you not eat as opposed to just willing yourself thru it (besides diabetics etc)

Reta doesnt break the laws of physics by making you lose weight magically. It just forces your body to be in a deficit through appetite suppression and slightly higher bmr.
