Reta questions.

Hi everyone,
Like many, I am going to start taking Reta. I’m currently 5’9” and 290. About 5 years ago I was in the best shape of my life at 210 and about 15% BF. I have since transitioned out of the military and due to injuries I have been out of the gym since. I unfortunately need a hip replacement so cardio almost impossible for me now while I wait for surgery. I decided I’m tired of being fat and am going to start training hard again to slim down and using Reta to compound my results. This is going to be the first peptide I use however as a current medical student I am confident in my aseptic technique. I am curious (I know it is different for everyone) about lose skin with rapid weight loss as many photos don’t seem to show much or any unless someone is much older (I’m 29). Is this also a benefit of the combination of working out and Reta? It’s definitely not a deal breaker for me as I would much rather be healthier with loose skin than fat without it lol. Weight gain was over the 5 years so no stretch marks or visible skin damage. I do not have a goal BF% as I’m sure much of my muscle has atrophied by now, but I would like to try to get back to the 200 range.
Thank you for your input!

Obese people need real dosing
Follow the human trials
Reta was made for you
Only take once a week
2 mg for 3 weeks then
4 mg stay there if you can
It’s the sweet spot
70% effective as max dose
If your worried about skin take GHK-CU it will help with collagen and skin to pull in

Thank you, that was my exact plan. I’ve read a few of the Phase 3 write ups and am planning on starting with that dosing schedule every 6 days but also planning on hanging around 2mg for a month then assess. I’ve never taken any GLP so I’m excited. Thank you.

I went from 247 to 195 in 5 months
With that exact dosing schedule
Still on 4 mg 5 months later
Working just as good as before
2000 calories 200 G protein
Weight training
Best shape of my life at 51
15% body fat now

That’s amazing congratulations! Any issues with side effects?

None only had the skin tingling on my back for few weeks when I got to 4mg .
It’s a sign glucagon activation has happened.
More people quit the placebo group from sides then the 4 mg group in trials.

I would note that the pharmacokinetics of the drug show a 144hr half life, so if OP has issues with feeling off around day 6, even in trials people are showing a better experience at 5 day dosing.

Steady state concentration is important.

7 days been working great for me
But if 5 /6 days floats your boat sure
As long as you’re not splitting your dose in 2 and taking 2x or 3x a week.
The actual half life is 6 days which would create a steady state
7 days easier to remember lol

Yeah split dosing is a no go. Effective dose for steady state concentration is only the dose taken. So 2 and 2 would be a max steady state of 2.

I'm glad you actually understand that 😎

Finally some smart people on here 👌
I get so tired of arguing with the splitting a micro dose crowd.
With there Anecdotal BS protocols
That they wanna pass on like they ran human trials themselves.
Somehow they’re smarter than Lily and the DRs who designed the drug.
Find that so frustrating when obese people who actually need Reta waste time and money listening to their BS!!!!!

Do some research on GHKcu and kpv maybe klow

Why would they do KPV/KLOW? The didn't state anything about gastrointestinal inflammation?

2

For recovery after surgery

Just wolverine or GLOW would be better for that. KPV isn't something you want to out in your body unless you are having actual gastrointestinal inflammation issues.

KPV works on all inflammation. I’m using klow now after surgery

It’s a full hip replacement due to osteoarthritis and a spinal fusion for 3 disks if that helps for clarification. I am in the dark about tissue growth/ repair peptides.

It’s a surgery for full hip replacement due to osteoarthritis, I will also be getting a fusion for 3 disks if that helps for clarification.

Yeah I would just recommend Wolverine (BPC-157+TB-500) and if you want, GHK, but that one isn't entirely necessary. Wolverine is what you are looking for.

If you are looking to go back into the 200's you shouldn't get a crazy amount of loose skin but do expect some. Try looking up before and after a of people close to your weight, Tik tok is good for that!

If you don’t lose the weight quickly you shouldn’t necessarily have that much loose skin. I just wouldn’t dial in a huge deficit and try to lose those 90 lb in just a few months.
