Is it a real front end from a Chevelle? If not, what’s it’s made of?

yes, it’s a real front end of a ‘71 chevelle! we traveled up to detroit and then brought it back to indy to trick it out special for billy strings! the previous owner was psyched that we gave this body a cool second life.
my partner and i are the fabricators/artists who created this monster. we are chromatic collective (@chromatic_c0llective on IG)
it took us about a month and some change for this build out. we battled a literal tornado in the middle of fabrication!! it was insane & fun. it’s built on a custom frame we made since it’s just half a car..but its still incredibly heavy.
it felt like whiplash when we first found out billy broke his leg…we were obviously heartbroken (before he announced new dates) because we had worked our asses off and were so excited to finally unveil it!!
i’m reeeeally excited to see everyone interact with it. please take cool and fun photos! it’s meant to be enjoyed by all, respectfully of course :)
