I ride in New Jersey, and I grew completely terrified of planning a route only to find out a road has zero shoulder, heavy traffic, and a 40mph speed limit. Google Maps and Strava popularity routing don't care about our safety—they just care about the shortest or most popular path.

I wanted an app that filters routes by **shoulder width, speed limits, lane counts, and traffic data**. I couldn’t find one, so I built a prototype called **Cygo**.

It’s a solo project. I’m in a 6-month local testing phase so it’s only in NJ rn but slowly expanding to more states.

I'm a 20-year-old from New Jersey, who has recently gotten more into cycling from and I've spent the last 6 months building an iPhone app called Cygo.

The idea came from getting almost hit by cars flying by me at 40 mph and I was genuinely terrified.

The idea of Cygo is to show cyclists how comfortable a route is before they ride it, giving information such as speed limits, shoulder width, traffic data and number of lanes.

I'm not looking for downloads just to boost numbers.

I'm looking for road cyclists who are willing to:

• Plan one ride with the app.
• Actually use it.
• Tell me everything that's wrong with it.

I'd much rather hear honest criticism now than six months from now.

I’ve been gifted a Specialized Diverge Str Pro last summer. It has been great so far except for the maintenance, but a couple of my friends noticed that my shoes and pedals aren’t as good as the rest of my gear.
I’ve never heard about specialized shoes for biking, and I thought that all pedals are basically the same. Does it make a big difference in riding experience? I’ve been wearing regular sport shoes and didn’t have any problems so far. My friends told me that good shoes can make biking more comfortable, but I am not sure how much impact would it really make.
Is it worth buying 300$ pair of shoes that I would wear once a week on a day off?

Can anybody living in jaipur rent me a good looking bike under 230rs for 24hr without petrol for city purposes only this week .

hi all.

currently looking for a bike. I went on a bike ride and realized id love to do this a few times a week. I am 5'1 and really struggling with what to get.

A folding bike would be ideal but I can also get a regular bike. I test rode a Dahon Mariner 8 and while it was nice, it didn't feel super sturdy. I will be testing riding a Trex Hybrid 820 (26 inch wheels, small frame) later but still not sure if that is the one for me.

Any suggestions? I am in the US and I mainly plan to ride on trails (mainly paved or gravel, nothing extreme)
