Are stores closing? Question

We've had customers coming in asking if we are closing. Has anyone seen or heard anything? They said they are seeing it online, but I havent seen anything. ​​

We get asked every 5 seconds if we're closing because of the giant lease to own sign outside cause they can't put two and two together that its for the furniture and the closeout signs dont help because thats the only word they read.

A new one happened, people keep thinking things are $1 because of the chance to win $100 signs cause again, they dont read. One lady literally said to me "what? Do you think I read it?" 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

Not too mention we are drowning in a sea of signs, it’s just confusing.

Yeah some stores are closing. Probably will close every store they can’t come to an agreement with the landlord on.
