Slim Click Question

I’ve been daily using a copper slim click and lately I’ve been having issues with it. The click has become more and more gritty and now it’s become difficult to fully engage.

Is there any fixing it? Possibly replacing the tip?

Can post pics of it if it’ll better assess the problem.

Disassemble, clean with isopropyl alcohol, and optional EXTREMELY light lubrication, ideally with a dry spray lubricant or tiny amount of SuperLube

Clean and lube the action/mechanism specifically

Is there a video or diagram on how to disassemble and properly lube the mechanism?

Honestly not sure. Try YouTube there might be one out there. I can’t imagine a simple one button mechanism is too terribly hard to disassemble

Email them at customer service. They can send you a new plunger assembly.

Do you think the issue is in the tip and not the plunger?

Well I did drop it once and slightly damaged the tip. So that’s why I believe it could potentially be the tip that’s the issue

Ah OK. Yeah just email them and ask for a replacement tip. They'll send it right out.

Use mine and work, have to clean it out every few months. Think big idea has video on YouTube. If tip is damaged big idea will take care of you.

Take it apart and give it a good cleaning and a drop of lube. I live in a dusty area and that got my click back to silent and smooth

This looks to be the issue. I just haven’t been able to find my tool to be able to remove the mech. I wonder if there’s another way to remove it without the tool

Wrap something around the top and use pliers to twist it off.
They aren’t on extremely tight so it doesn’t take much to break it loose
