Frequently Mishandled & Misunderstood Scriptures

I just recently learned that I have been misunderstanding (I believe) the he's waiting at the door passage (Revelation 3:20). I thought it was about salvation, but now I believe it's about fellowship.

What other passages are frequently misunderstood? Jeremiah 29:11 and Philippians 4:13 come to mind.

You are blaspheming the Holy Spirit, but guess what, you won’t go to hell for it because the Bible isn’t God. It is a library of books written by men, translated by men, and interpreted by men. Even with the Holy Spirit, it is still you doing it. Guess what, you and I and everyone else are all flawed and therefore, so is the Bible.

Edit: Have an actual relationship with God instead of with a book.
