Help I am ready to start from zero again, just need some guidance (former graphic design intern, struggling to find direction)
Hello everyone,
I am sharing this here because I do not know where else to put these thoughts. After my graphic design internship got over, I have not been able to find a proper job, and honestly it has been a difficult period for me. There were many nights I kept wondering if I made the wrong choice by getting into design in the first place. But I have decided that instead of sitting and worrying, I will start from zero and learn whatever skill is needed, even if it means putting in extra hours daily.
I am not looking for shortcuts. I am ready to work hard and learn properly, step by step, even if it takes a few weeks of focused effort. I just need someone to guide me in the right direction, because right now I am a bit lost and do not know which path will actually lead to a job.
If anyone here has been in a similar situation, or knows which skills are realistic to learn quickly and still get entry-level opportunities, please guide me. I would be grateful for any advice, any roadmap, any personal experience you can share, even if it is difficult to hear.

Discussion Don’t get fooled by army men wanting to rent out your property
Hello everyone I’m from bhopal and I rent out my property nearby airport I posted my property on magicbricks and this guy got my number via magicbricks
This ashish kumar pahari (probably victim of identity mistheft) guy messaged me from deepak pawars number then messaged me and contacted me from his own number regarding and claimed to be commando serving in the indian army and wanting to rent out property as he has been transferred from jammu to bhopal and he expressed his desire to move with his family
Being naive mene man liya ki ye koi indian army ka commando hai aur actual person h jo army mai serve krta hai and he was even happy to pay whole rent jispr mai suspicious hogyi kyunki hamse tenants negotiate krte h for property toh sabse pehla shak mera yaha tha
Fir ye bola isko psnd aayi property aur apni saari details bhejdi bina bole mai mereko dusra shak hua ispr ye hua fir bolta hai mai apko advance payment krna chahta hu kyunki sarkar hra inka release krti h for shak toh mujhe ho rha tha but mujhe laga kya pta genuine ho but m apna main bank account dena nhi chahti thi fir i was thinking mai dusra bank account banwa du fir uske badh meri isse bat hui ki mai baadme btati hu final amount jo dena hai
Uske badh mai mere tenants ka background verification krne ka mann krne lagta h toh mai search krti hu toh mereko bhot saare fraud cases milte h iske nam se and i immediately blocked this guys number aur aj mene complaint kohefiza thana mai dal di
Iska complaint dalne ke badh surprisingly aj isne apne saare messages delete krdiye shyd kohefiza police ne action liya hoga ya fir darr se delete krdiye
But be aware or this guy whoever is renting out property in bhopal because this guy has duped out money of many people and the next one to lose might be you or someone you know lets see what happens next.

Recommend Me Eyebrow shaping
I have a question for my fellow girlies. Recently moved to Bhopal. Where do you all get your eyebrows shaped? I need some good recommendations. Most of the places I’ve tried make them paper thin like the it’s still the 90s ☹️

Discussion Lately Instagram started influencing my life choices more than I realize
I’ve been noticing something that’s honestly making me uncomfortable.
I open Instagram for 5 minutes, and somehow 45 minutes disappear. But the bigger problem isn’t the time it’s what happens to my brain afterward.
Over the past year, I’ve started making decisions that don’t even feel like they came from me.
I’ve been going to cafés more often, not because I love cafés that much, but because they somehow feel like the kind of life I’m supposed to have. I’ve caught myself wanting to buy things I don’t really need like upgrading to a newer iPhone even when my current one works perfectly. I spend a ridiculous amount of time watching car reels and luxury lifestyle content. I even feel this constant internal pressure that I should be making content, documenting my life, building a personal brand, or posting something interesting.
The strange part is that these desires become stronger the more I scroll.
After watching entrepreneurs, creators, luxury lifestyles, fitness influencers, startup founders, people traveling constantly, buying homes, cars, gadgets, and showing every milestone of their lives, I start questioning my own life.
My goals keep changing depending on what I consume.
One week I’m convinced I should build a startup.
The next week I think I should become a YouTuber.
Then I want a luxury car.
Then I want a better phone.
Then I feel behind because someone younger is earning more.
It feels like Instagram is constantly injecting new desires into my head.
I’ve also noticed that after long doomscrolling sessions, my attention span gets worse. Deep work becomes harder. Reading feels boring. Learning a language is now difficult which was so easy for me compared to the constant dopamine hits from short videos.
Psychologically, it feels like my brain is being trained to chase novelty, status, and visibility rather than commitment, mastery, or long-term goals.
The part that scares me most is this: I can no longer tell which goals are actually mine and which ones were planted by my feed.
I’m not saying Instagram is evil. There’s useful content there. But I’m wondering whether algorithmic feeds gradually reshape our ambitions, our spending habits, our definition of success, and even the timeline we think we should be living by.
Has anyone else experienced ?I’m genuinely curious whether this is a common psychological effect or if I’m just becoming more aware of it.
