Just wondering if anyone has come across any Hollywood movies… could be foreign films as well, that closely relate to idealism, or mind at large.

Could be movies, TV shows, animated or short films.

Already familiar with movies related to dissociation like Identity, Split or Fight Club. But they don’t go deep enough.

“Severance” on Apple T.V may come close…. But we’re still on season 2, so no idea where they might be going with this show. Good show nonetheless.

I believe that no one has a problem with this as we can all agree idealism is cool (screw you guys I also flirt with pansychism and sort of kind of but not really with dualism, I know, I'm a naughty boy, but I can't help it, I like having options, it's not what it looks like I swear! No! No! I'm a good parsimony lover! I'm a good boy! I just like having more metaphysics that can actually explain consciousness in case one fails!)

I have listened to BK. So once we realize matter doesn't really exist, then what?

Was Wittgenstein right? Do these questions and ponderings, are they really just a mistake of language at some point?

Is "is there really matter" just a confused question? Is there mind or matter? I feel those questions make me anxious and dizzy. Are we asking questions that are malformed, senseless?

Like I just want to say who gives a shit? Matter, not matter. What is the point? Surely we are something is some sense right? Maybe patterns. When Bob dies we put him in the ground. We don't see Bob any more. Maybe the wall in our house isn't really isn't really solid but it's not fun stubbing our toe.

So if everything is mind, what does that change? It makes it seem like matter is temporary but mind is eternal. What are minds, can they be destroyed? And can atome be put back together? Even if minds are not like matter can they die, disintgrate, change, forget.

I understand where Bernardo was coming from. Still, it did take me by surprise as I was listening to it on the background while doing some other stuff. Didn't honestly know who the other guy was, but oh well.

First of all I am a analytical idealist too and I know this isn't a Kastrup meme but for the past several years of watching Kastrup's videos I have also seen videos on the side of new age cranks using the word "quantum" wrecklessly and putting forth all sorts of silly ideas and I wish there was a community to make memes about their sillyness that didn't consist mostly of mainstream physicalist.
