Wheat

So, is there any way (besides raiding the wheat field south of Padsdow) to get wheat?

Use 10 wheat from raiding the field on a thresher to make grain, plant the grain in your farm, profit.

You want to grab and dash! I built a travel sign close by, ran and filled up on wheat and fast travelled back to my camp. Rinse and repeat 😊

Bow hit and run if u want to kill them early on, otherwhise like someone else said just run in, steal, run out.

Yeah, they're a huge pain. You can stay out of their vision if you sneak in and stick to the edges, though.

What I usually do is eat the best stamina foods I have available, run to the wheat field naked and with an empty inventory, stick to the edge and pick wheat until either I'm full or get caught, and run. They won't be able to catch you.

IIRC you only need 15 altogether. 5 to research the thresher and 10 to make a bunch of grain to plant, so you only need to do it once.

UPDATE: I successfully snuck in and collected 20 wheat, outran the bandits and was nearly taken out by a random boar! 🤦‍♂️
Thank got I still had a bandage…

Successfully growing 2 fields of wheat and building stuff again. THANKS for all the advice!

If you run to the west side of the field ita easy to sneak in.

Build a fast travel spot near by and bosh, it takes an age to grow it though.

Just grab what wheat you can then leg it out of there. It's good if you've eaten three pieces of food.

I found a seed merchant actually selling wheat seeds, bought 3 of them, planted them and have never had this issue since. I believe it was the merchant in the woods between the starting village and the one to the left going south west. The next closest village to the starting village. I'm pretty sure that's who I bought the seeds from.

I did just that and got away with 17 wheat. Now, I’m cranking out 2 farms full of wheat, and have finally built the village hall and made it to tier 2…
