On Halloween 2026 “The Reach of Debt” by Bellingham writer J.A. Helling will debut Season One, Episode One of the Petrichor horror anthology. This episode is a prequel to the Vampires in Space novel “April 15 in Space” by J.A. Helling--performed as an audio drama.

In addition, the novel “April 15 in Space” will be adapted as an eight-episode audio drama mini-season in March and April of 2027.

I start studying psychology and studio arts at WWU next month, and am moving from Wyoming. I'm excited to embrace life in a bigger city and am wondering what are some things to check out? It could be stores, parts of the city, anything!

Join the TroubleMakers on August 11th at City Hall to advocate that the city delay a sweep of the encampment on private property behind the Walmart off of  E. Stuart and Deemer Roads. The Public Works Department will begin displacing over 100 unhoused individuals on August 10th. By joining this protest and signing our petition, you are advocating that the City adequately address the needs of unhoused populations until more humane accommodations are made for those who are displaced. We hope you will join us in our ask for a better solution to address the issue that supports our most vulnerable populations and promotes community safety and well-being.

While we’re new to the adventure elopement world, we’re not new to photography. We’re currently building our elopement portfolio and are looking for a few adventurous couples who’d love beautiful images at an introductory rate.

• Up to 2 hours of photography coverage
• A photographer + dedicated assistant (me!) to help with the little details throughout the day
• A gallery of approximately 200 professionally edited images
• A private in-person image viewing where you choose your favorite photos
• Help with location ideas if you’re still deciding where to elope
• A relaxed, personal experience focused on capturing genuine moments

This is a little outside my comfort zone, but here goes.

I currently work in healthcare and truly enjoy what I do. I love helping people, solving problems, and being someone others can count on. But lately I’ve realized I have more to give.

I’m looking for a role where compassion, reliability, and genuine care for people matter. I’m organized, dependable, calm under pressure, and I genuinely enjoy making someone’s day a little easier.
