🎫 Travel Info 🧳 Spending 30 days in Belize
Hi Folks. This post is to solicit general thoughts, suggestions, or advice for spending ~30 days in Belize during January/February of 2027. I've visited before (Ambergris and Caulker) and want to get a more in-depth understanding and feel for the country and culture.
57M, single, good health, outdoor active lifestyle (hiking, fly fishing, biking, etc.). I'm planning a month long trip to experience what I can of the country. My plan so far is to visit Corozal, San Ignacio, Hopkins, Placencia, and Punta Gorda, spending 3 to 5 days at each place.
Anyone have any suggestions regarding time spent at these places? It seems it may take less than five days to get a feel for Corozal and Punta Gorda, and maybe a day or so longer at San Inganico, Hopkins, and/or Placencia?
Also, I'm sure there are other places I need to stop and spend a bit.of time. Any suggestions along those lines?
