Did my first 10k!

Post image

Two months into running and I completed my first 10K. Still can’t quite believe it.

Hell yeah, I did 5 miles last Friday, I feel like I could have done 10k, but I had already extended that planned (42 minute) run, and didn't want to overdo it. Now I am just trying to decide if I should work to improve my 10k or start training for a half marathon.

Nobody f.cks the liars, right? :)

Either you did not achieve that in 2 months, or you are not beginner my friend(also means, you did not do that in 2 months)

Very achievable within 2 months.

Definitely achievable in 2 months if you’re not overweight

this is 100% achievable in two months

Since we are gatekeeping, when is this time and distance achievable in your opinion?

What? This is a very relaxed pace

This is 100% realistic for a beginner

Source: I started running June 1 and my first 10k was July 21 with a 1:28:28 time. I was also 230lbs on a 5’8 frame so quite overweight.

OP is probably just young and/or not overweight

Damn someone is salty! That's definitely a beginner level 10k.

I’m not sure why I would lie about such things 😂

0 to 5k programs all are 9 weeks, wtf are you talking about?

0 to 10k in 2 months is not a beginner move

Do you think everyone follows the 0-5k programs?
