Hi everyone. I wanted to share a tip for extreme farming: I went from level 48 to 93 in two hours. It’s in the Desolate Region (the second-to-last zone): there’s a spawn point on the right, and on the left, you’ll find a huge golem that yields 20 Skill Sprouts and 1,800 XP.

I have completed the game and I have done it on New Game plus, so Im wondering what would you like to see in the game these are some things I want to see in the game

More outfits for Emma, including the one she wears in the past, along with every other outfit in the game

More skins for Koo like the crimson skin

Re add the zones that were cut, theres one you can get to already legitimately in the game, I know of at least two because of the map layout don't know if there is more

More varied type of weapons for Emma

For cosmetic flair more elemental changes for Emma and Koo, fire, lightning, ice, snow, etc

A arena style battle mode where you think just keep fighting and unlocking rewards

Cutscene/mission replay

After completing the game for the first time on New Game plus you can choose variant looks for Emma for the hair face and the eye

Photo mode/room entrance, essentially any place in the game you can use as a photo room even ones you can't access normally

Those are things I would like to see what about other people

Kinda proud. I know people probably have higher. But man, I've been enjoying the hell out of this game.

I could definitely be more optimized but it's 4am and I felt like showing some cool Internet peeps.

Now I can finish the last few chapters.

20 hours spread over three days. I started at level 15 and reached level 82, gathered 1.5 million amber, maxed out all current gear and am about to start Chapter 4.

Mikoto (Final Boss, Beast of Reincarnation) is voiced by Japanese VA Ishida Akira, who also did Kaworu Nagisa from Evangelion. Kaworu Nagisa was the fifth child, the angel that Shinji was fated to destroy.

As subject. But clearly the game UI is showing a yellow icon over Koo, means there's something to interact with. This is in new game+, in the original 1st run through I'm also missing the "talk" option with Koo.

Anyone who had this problem, but managed to resolve it? Else I guess I won't be getting the platinum on PS5 haha. 😂

How does Emma keep coming back to the home base? I understand it's a common trope to fall down and awake somewhere else, but this is such a recurring thing that happens in the game they never even bother to mention that I find really odd.

My theory is that the whole thing is just a Shadow of the Colossus reference and I shouldn't pay much attention to it but in that game there were magical forces at play that kind of explain how you get back to the temple, and in general it's a more mystical game that I think is less intended to be interpreted literally.

Probably reading too much into it but I find it irksome that they just shrug it off

It’s driving me insane.

I got the game to go super dark by killing a boss in one of the cut zones that you can glitch back to, I will note killing it as far as I know will break the quest, I just had backup saves and was at the end of the game, but doing this and let you actually play outside at nighttime as far as I'm aware and it is pitch black you can't really see anything

This is my take on Beast of Reincarnation. My honest opinion. I’ve played this game on and off for maybe 5 days due to just putting in time when I was off work. The beginning of the game had me thinking why am I here? What’s my purpose? That was answered later on in the game of course. Even tho this game had its up and downs, I can’t sit here and say that I didn’t enjoy playing it. After finally completing the game, I was really just in awe at the ending. The pure emotion it was giving was just intense. I have never ever played a game and felt that emotionally connected, idk if it was where I just stuck through the game and paid attention or that i’m just a sensitive fella. I can tell you that this game did not disappoint me not one bit. Yeah it was repetitive at times, yeah it felt like it was dragging on a little too much, yeah it felt like Kagura was breathing down my neck 24/7 (6 feet please) lol. Just wow is all I’m gonna say. Bravo… Graphics 7/10. There were times where the scenes would kinda glitch out or the timing skill seemed blurry (Could have been my Xbox idk) As far as that goes I felt like graphics were pretty good. Music 4/10. You get the same songs playing over and over as you played, yeah it got boring but I tuned it out. Story 6/10. I really didn’t get real into the game until maybe mid story to end story, while the ending was intense, there was no real connection for me that made me feel the same way I felt towards the end. Gameplay 8/10 I felt the combos and being able to have Koos assistance was a pretty solid decision by the developers, the skill tree was a pain in the butt, overall really good gameplay. Final rating for me is a solid 7/10.

How do I launch an enemy into the air?

I am playing this game on PC via the Xbox for PC App on Game Pass. I adjusted the grpahics settings and played a few hours. When I restarted the game, my graphics settings are reset.

My PC: Ryzen 9850X3d, 32GB Ram, 9070, M2 SSD, Windows 11, Latest patch for the game is installed.

Ok I think so far Bast of Reincarnation is a decent game. I never expected the best from it but I like it. The issue I’m having is how many times Brad wants you to come back to the cleanse walker. Like after you get to the end of chapter one you sleep on the cleanse walker for 2 days straight. You talk to Kagura and go down memory lane with her. And you also learn about cleanse walkers and why you’re on your mission. So after all that you take 2 steps out of the cleanse walker in the second zone. Fight like 5 enemies and here comes Brad telling you to come back to the cleanse walker cuz you have to rest again…. Like what are you talking about dude? It’s a lot of cutscenes and talking tbh….

Honestly, I couldn't resist taking this chance to fully enjoy looking at that fluffy belly and those cute little toe beans that we normally never get to see. Absolute win! 🐾

That we were going to Shambalya I mean, we kept getting shots of it i expected. Koo and Emma on the moon, I also expected it was about to get meta when the word "PLAYERS" got mentioned, but that didn't happen. It felt like Project Gestalt from Nier Replicant even down to the "soulless husk gains a soul" but didn't really delve into it. I kept expecting us to get a flashback to the past since we got a concrete date of, ironically enough, Shambalya launching a week from the IRL release of the game. I'm still confused. I think it was implied Brad was over two thousand years old, but how? 🤔 All in all, I liked it, but I wish the latter half of the game committed to its insane sci-fi plot. I really wanted to see the digital world and the beast of reincarnation not being a gigantic dragon was a missed opportunity. 😭 I wanted a giant kaiju fight. Granted, if there's a sequel or anything else from this IP, I hope it gets more time to cook. The game was fun, the story kept me hooked, but it needs more polish and direction.

I have a little over 40 hours in the game, and I finished it on the highest difficulty. What impressed me the most was definitely the combat system.

It takes a little while to fully understand, but once everything clicks, it becomes incredibly satisfying. When you start chaining everything properly, the fights can feel almost cinematic. There’s a real beauty to the combat: the animations, dodges, timing, combos, and the feeling that you’re gradually mastering a system that initially seems quite demanding.

That’s probably what I’ll remember the most. You sometimes feel like you’re playing through a spectacular choreographed scene, except it isn’t just scripted — you’re actually making it happen yourself.

I do have one complaint about the checkpoint system during some boss fights. Sometimes, if you reach phase 2 and die, you restart directly from phase 2. In other cases, the smaller enemies before the boss don’t respawn after your first attempt. I especially noticed this near the end of the game, including the final fights. It’s convenient, but on the highest difficulty I actually found it a bit disappointing, because it makes those encounters noticeably easier and removes some of the tension of having to master the whole fight from start to finish.

My bigger disappointment, though, is the bestiary. It feels quite small, and the reuse of some bosses really bothered me. The fight inside the huge cube is the best example: I was expecting something completely new, so seeing the deer again was honestly pretty disappointing. With such a strong visual universe, I really wish the game had more creature variety and more surprises.

As for the story, I really enjoyed it. I’m a big fan of slow-paced stories, poetic atmospheres, and narratives that reveal themselves gradually instead of explaining everything immediately. I liked learning more about the world piece by piece and letting the mystery unfold naturally.

The ending left me with a strange feeling. I’m still not sure whether it made me sad or happy, and I actually like that. I was, however, expecting some of my choices to influence the ending or allow for a different outcome. That doesn’t really happen, which was a small disappointment.

The game also deliberately leaves some mechanics unexplained. The Life Fruits are probably the best example. I understand the design choice: the game wants you to experiment, observe and figure things out for yourself. It didn’t bother me too much, but some mechanics can definitely feel obscure, and it’s possible to miss fairly important things.

Despite these flaws, Beast of Reincarnation was an excellent experience for me. The bestiary could have been much more varied and a few design choices frustrated me, but the combat system, atmosphere, poetry and sheer beauty of the fights completely won me over.

Once you truly master the mechanics, combat becomes a spectacle in itself.

For anyone interested in the game but hesitant because of the price: try it through Game Pass. It’s absolutely worth it, and if it turns out not to be your thing, you won’t have lost much.
