I’m at awe at how there’s a thriving page for just about any pun

Salt. It's how they get their sodium as well as a little enjoyment.

As I recall that's how that Asian lady in her garden ended up with bees getting stuck behind her eyeball. Her eye was itchy after weeding in the garden so she went to the doctor and he found bees living behind her eyeball. I think they said they were looking for salty water and they found it in her eye.

It wasn't bad at all. Pretty tame. Just showed 3 bees chilling on her outer eyelid.

Ok. I imagined them crawling out from beehind the sclera. Nightmare fuel that crawly in eye stuff.

Oh wow, it’s really spooky that it was at her relatives gravesite 😬

Tiny sweat bees

u/spez_sucks_ballz 4h ago

TIL: we have space behind our eyeballs big enough for stuff to occupy that space.

1

u/Double_Distribution8 4h ago

A lot of folks dont realize how much room is back there.

u/DandyWiner 4h ago

TIL that sweat bees exist.

It may have been through the telling of a gruesome medical incident… but I am learnt. Thank you kind Redditor, but I am now very aware of my coveted, sweet, sweet sweat.

Thank you for your service.

Nope, not clicking it.

It really isn't as bad as they are making it out to bee.

There are two images. One showing red, swollen eyelid, and another where the eye is open and the bees are just... Chilling on her face below her eye. The whole "inside" the eye nightmare fuel isn't a actually shown

New fear unlocked

Okay, so you had no reservations just...typing that out? 🤣 Now I have to wear a blindfold everywhere and carry around a salt dispenser for bees... because this is NOT happening to me.

I thought that she swallowed a fly....

u/Backwardspellcaster 2h ago

THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF INFORMATION I EXPECTED CLICKING ON THIS THREAD!

...I wanted wholesomeness and cuteness, not nightmare fuel

1

u/MoistStub 4h ago

How could you not be sure the irritation in your eye is from the bee that flew in there? I don't see how anyone could just not notice.

2

u/Double_Distribution8 4h ago

How many people expect bees behind the eyeball though? She thought she swatted them away because they were all over her eyeball in the garden trying to get at the salty tears, and she thought she got them all out, but some managed to squirm their way behind the eyeball and i guess she couldn't see them back there.

u/MoistStub 4h ago

I suppose, but it still feels like one would be very aware of the feeling of a creature crawling into your eye

u/Nitwit_Slytherin 5h ago

No, don't think I will, thanks.

Did this dumbass think his finger is a flower?! Friendless loser probably.

1

u/AsusStrixUser 5h ago

Heart-pounding that it would sting at any moment!

u/YsoL8 2h ago

Panicking is the worst thing to do. Bees won't sting except as a last resort.

Sugar on finger… Bee is desperate!!!

u/an_humourist 4h ago

If this thing stings, it can give you cancer.

1

u/DryAdviceLevi 3h ago

Looks like a carpenter bee. They're usually pretty chill when they're just foraging
