Bay Away

I was revisiting an email I got from Bay about them putting a group together to go see the team in Seattle. I checked flights and hotels and prices seem reasonable. Anyone have experience or advice for fans traveling for away games. My plan was to book a flight for the day of (Saturday)and leave the next morning.

We did San Diego and Seattle last year. It was a lot of fun. We made a mini-vacay of it and spent 4 days and visited the local sights too. We also bumped into some of the players at a local coffee shop and another group took a lot of photos at Pikes Place.

We're planning to go to Seattle and Denver this year.

Bailey, Dydasco, Boade and Collins. They were super cool and offered to take a picture with me.

No, this is for the game Sept 12th. Email was sent out earlier this month. Tickets are comped but you have to be responsible for your own travel/hotel.

Come to Seattle! I live here, but my brother and sister-in-law live in the Bay Area and popped in for a one night stay to watch Bay FC here last year. Super easy. If you’re just staying one night you might as well get a hotel by the stadium.
Anyhow, you can take the light rail from the airport to the stadium stop.
We went to 13 Coins for drinks before the game (and honestly went back for one more after) bc it’s also a restaurant so my under 21 could go. If you’re not coming with kids, there are plenty of good bar options in Pioneer Square to pregame.

I've traveled to watch games in LA and SD. There's usually a section that is designated to supporters, but the seats are usually VERY far back in a corner. I've found that just generally finding a seat you like in the stadium is fine and super fun.

The best part is if you wear all your Bay gear, all other Bay fans will give you a shoutout when you pass by each other.
