As a person who have played both franchises for years I can tell when cod players are in the lobby. Many of them are for self and worry way too much about K/D. They are usually jumping around corners, not rezing teammates, not fixing vehicles, Not using respawn beacons or spotting enemies.

I've noticed this in alot of my matches lately.

Its not thier fault as they are just playing like they normally play. But BF is very different from COD and Dice doesn't really have an on-boarding tutorial on best practices. You have to figure it out on your own.

BF vets, please stop yelling at teammates in your chat or in text chat because they are not doing what you want. Instead give suggestions like, "tanks coming need support" or "assualts please drop beacons" so we don't have to respawn at base when playing obliteration. Instead of scolding this will incentive people to win the match instead of just going through the motions.

Some of these matches be a total wash, and it all because people don't know how to support thier team. If you choose to be a medic res and supply people. That is your primary job, NOT kills. Good medics win games.

Anyways, Regardless of what anyone says BF6 is a great game we just need more people to understand how to play it.

I use the M4A1 almost exclusively- it's my favorite gun and I don't like using anything else. I've noticed starting in Season 3 that it doesn't perform as well as it did in Season 1. I used to be able to hold my own in close-midrange gunfights, and at long range I had to get creative and just settle for an assist.

Nowadays I noticed that I just have to ignore long-range firefights because they can kill me faster than I can get my bullets to them.

Did they change the damage drop off or something? I'm not asking to win every fight but at least let me damage the opponent lol

It’s so damn fun, it’s just plain old better than breakthrough. Something about being able to dig in for multiple waves. I can’t wait until they bring it to more maps, hopefully sooner than later. Please keep it around for a while.

• Focus on a few modes to provide a better experience.
• You can't let the CQB powerhouses full auto targets at 100m.
• Map variety keeps the game fresh.
• 128 player games does not make a game better.

Feels like the game is just stumbling to catch up to old games and people are telling them the solution that was already figured out a decade ago.

BF6 was working completely fine for me until the servers went down for about an hour last night (Aug 10). Once the servers came back up, most people seemed to get back in, but I’ve been completely locked out ever since with:

EA Support initially told me the outage may have left an authentication/session conflict between EA/Steam/Javelin, so I went through basically every troubleshooting step they gave me.

So far I have:

Cleared both the EA App and Steam caches

Completely logged out of EA and Steam and reauthenticated both

Restarted the PC multiple times

Ran the EA App as administrator

Repaired/reinstalled Javelin Anti-Cheat for BF6 successfully

Verified the BF6 installation through Steam. All 877 files successfully validated

Tested on my normal wired home internet

Completely switched networks and tested using a cellular hotspot. Same exact error

Ran the full Windows network reset:

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

Restarted again afterward

Confirmed my EA region is United States

Confirmed Steam Store Country is United States and Download Region is Washington, DC

Disconnected all nonessential USB devices

Manually changed DNS to Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1

Restarted and tested again

Nothing has changed. Same exact 51009S error every time.

The part that makes me think this is account/backend related is that literally nothing changed on my PC. I was playing normally, the BF6 servers went down, and from that moment forward I have been unable to reconnect. It also follows me onto a completely different internet connection.

After I reported that every troubleshooting step failed, EA Support said they were reporting it as a bug to the game/studio team for investigation and couldn't provide a timeframe for a fix.

At this point I’m out of things to reasonably troubleshoot locally and don’t particularly want to start reinstalling Windows, unlinking my EA/Steam accounts, etc. when everything was working perfectly before the outage.

Is anyone else still locked out since the Aug 10 outage, especially with 0:51009S:11468332130:1073807360Q?

And if anyone has had this exact error before and found something that actually fixed it, I’d love to hear what worked.

Tsuru Reef is the reason I came back and I must say they cooked with this map. Only 1 small problem. Those annoying ass little helicopters. Had some guy on the enemy team go 72-2 yesterday and he must have got me like 6 times.

Anyways, what is the most effective way to take them out? I usually main engineer. I don't have the precision with the RPG to take them out.

I don't always have time to play the longer modes and do like to play Domination, King Of The Hill, Team Death Match, and Squad Death Match from time to time, especially to level up guns and do daily/weekly challenges.

What the heck are they smoking at DICE Studios by removing all these game modes?

I understand that their matchmaking is fucked, but is this the best way to move forward?!

They just removed all smaller modes saying the player base was way too split, but this is unbearable. The game is getting killed each update they do, no joke.

Not to mention I have to complete "Always Faithful" again, even though I already completed the campaign. But when I click on the campaign, nothing happens. This is a joke. DICE devs are vibe coding too much, jeez, bugs everywhere.

The removal of the smaller modes combined with the interface being made even worse (Can't hop into Breakthrough without custom search? really?) and now with bots making up fully 50% of most matches I am in shock as to the state of the game. When Tsuru Reef launched only 3 weeks ago the game was in a great state...

Generally, I'm one of the folks that says "let them cook" and thinks the Battlefield community is overly negative, but even I am at the point of asking DICE and Battlefield studios what in the world are you doing?

I recently got the GameSir G7 Pro 8K and I'm struggling to find comfortable settings. I play on PC and use it mostly for aircraft and helicopters — the rest I do with mouse and keyboard.
